Excellent powersupply with wide range of interconnect cables
Very flexible cables and very easy to build with. Extremely quiet and powerful with a full complement of cables to support even the most powerful GPUs. Three 6+2 pcix and two of the latest 12pin connectors for Nvidia users. The cables are long enough for use with a full tower ASUS ProArt case. Very pleased with performance and Corsair is now my go-to brand for future builds...

One of the Highest Quality 1,200 Watt Power Supplies Available
This review is for CORSAIR HX1200i (2025) Fully Modular Ultra-Low Noise ATX Power Supply with 12V-2x6 Cable – ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 Compliant. I wasn't really looking for a new PSU, as I was super happy with my Corsair AX1200i. But I had it for almost 15 years, and I decided that since I was going to be moving to an RTX 5000 Series GPU that I was going to upgrade to a new PSU. My first thought was to get a newer version of my Corsair AX1200i, but unfortunately the only AX unit available was 1,600 watts. Anything over 1,200 watts should only be connected to a 20 Amp outlet, and I only have a 15 Amp outlet. So, I wanted to stay at 1,200 watts.I did heavy research on what were the highest quality 1,200 Watt PSU's. This lead me to a choice between three best: Corsair HX1200i (2025), Enermax PlatiGemini 1200W, and Super Flower Leadex VII XP PRO 1200W. Each unit had small variances between where they excelled, but all three were outstanding options. Overall, I decided to go with this Corsair HX1200i (2025). I liked the larger chassis for heat dissipation, the cables, and the iCUE link for PSU information. So far, I am very happy with the PSU. It is completely silent, has great output, nice cables (for the most part), and I like the iCUE link. I like the 12V-2x6 cable for RTX 4000/5000 GPU which supplies up to 600W, so it will work with an RTX 5090 without the need for adapter cables. In the iCUE software you can select to have this PSU operate as a single-rail or multi-rail PSU. I went with single-rail so that I don't have to bother with power balancing the rail connections. Also, the iCUE software is really nice. There are some things that I miss from my AX1200i though. First, there were more cables with the AX1200i, and the SATA cables had a better layout. The communication port setup was better. I could hide the adapter that had the activity light, and the activity light was not obnoxiously bright. The AX1200i also had a self-test button and nicer looking case. It was also 100% digital. There is talk of a new AX model coming down the road, but it sounds like it is a year or more away. There is something that I can't stand on this Corsair HX1200i though. The activity light is obnoxiously bright. To make it even more annoying, it is dome shaped. So, I can't just easily put a sticker over it. They layout of the SATA connectors could have also been better. On a Side Note:After doing research about PSU efficiency, it turns out that getting a PSU that is about double of what your system uses is roughly the best for efficiency, in addition to 80 Plus rating. Inefficiency generates heat. The more inefficient the PSU, the more heat it generates. If you are in a closed room, you can actually notice the heat difference in a room with a higher efficient PSU vs a lower one.System Information:Gigabyte AORUS Z590 XtremeIntel i9-11900KZalman CNPS9900MAX-BlueThermal Grizzly KryonautMSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC 16GB GDDR74 x 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3600 16-19-19-392 x 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD in RAID 1 Mirror1 x 2TB Seagate Constellation ES.3 SATA3 HDD1 x 4TB Samsung 870 EVO 2.5" SATA SSD in a Fideco external USB enclosure for backups2 x ASUS BD-RE BurnerCorsair HX1200i (2025 ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1) 1,200W PSUThermaltake Core W100 Super Tower ChassisWindows 11 Pro4 x Gigabyte AORUS FI25F 25" 240Hz 1080P IPS Monitor

Top‑Tier PSU — Silent, Stable, and Perfect for High‑End Builds
The CORSAIR HX1200i (2025) is exactly what a flagship power supply should be. It runs ultra‑quiet, even under heavy GPU loads, and the fully modular design makes cable management simple. The included 12V‑2x6 cable is a big plus for modern GPUs, and the power delivery is rock‑solid with zero hiccups.Build quality is excellent, the fan stays off most of the time, and the efficiency is right where you expect it from a premium unit. It’s the kind of PSU you install once and don’t think about again. If you’re running a high‑end gaming or workstation setup, this is one of the best 1200W options available.

Another Quality Product from Corsair!
Sort of like "Mopar or no car". It's "Corsair or don't even dare". I have been using corsair PSU's since the beginning of THEIR career and time after time I am always satisfied. This product is no different. It works great, reliably, and has phenomenal value for what you pay.I highly recommend this for anyone who want's a clean and simple solution to their build as well, since it's fully modular there are no left over or unused cables. Only what you need to get your machine working.I will say I had some trouble fitting all the cables within my case since my 5090 is a power hungry nightmare. This required more than the usual PCI power cables be installed and since my case design pushed the cables up against a slot for a HDD, I had to remove that. This is absolutely no dig on this product though. I would buy and do it all again with this PSU.

Lots of power
This is a great power supply. I currently have it in my new all-white gaming rig. It's fully modular, plenty of cables for even the most power hungry GPU. It's more than powerful enough for my rtx5070ti and fully rgb kit.Installation was relatively easy, all things considered. I had so do much to power that it took some time to figure out all the cables I needed, but that's not the fault of the power supply.Video below is of first start up, picture is after I got the bios setup and the rgb synced.10/10 would recommend.

Fast, exactly what i ordered and needed
Fast delivery, everything i needed was inside, easy to install and manage the cables. Probably overkill for my setup but its good for future proofing! It does come with the 12vhpwr cable. Plenty of length on the cables as well. Quiet. easy to connect, got everything you need

Stability and Compatibility issues???
Ordered 2 units that both failed to boot my system. I am building a new computer, and decided to temporarily move my current mobo, cpu, and gpu to the new tower with the new hx 1200i. First unit posted my system fine initially. It’s an r7 3800x and a 2070S. System had stability issues but figured it coulda been the age of my hardware, though felt it odd that it was getting bad like this out of nowhere. The next day, my 5080 came. I hooked it up with the hx 1200i and the system failed to post with more than one stick of ram. Eventually, through trying to diagnose, the system stopped posting all together. The system also wouldn’t post if I swapped back to the 2070. So, to see if it was my system itself, I hooked up my corsair cx550 I got for my original build back in 2019 and threw the 2070 back in, and the system posted. Threw the 5080 back in and swapped back to the hx and it posted (this was the second and last time I’d ever get a post with an hx psu after swapping gpus.) I could also shut down/reboot and get a post, although through my testing, there were heaps of stability issues and noticeable artifacting here and there. I later swapped back to the 2070 to see if it was the cpu being too old for the 5080 and if the stability issues would still be prevalent with the 2070, the system immediately failed to post and I wasn’t able to get the system to post with the hx again, even if I swapped back to the 5080, but the cx would still post.I ordered a second unit figuring the first hx is just faulty, however, this hx failed to get a successful boot at all. Fed up, I ripped out my cable managed rm850x from my previous build and hooked up everything and was immediately able to post. Given the cx doesn’t have the connectivity to even get the 5080 to post, the rm850 gave me the opportunity to test the old cpu with the new gpu with a different psu that isn’t potentially faulty. The stability issues were immediately non existent and that’s full loading the cpu and gpu to 100%, probably about 400-420 watts collectively, and that’s also with 7 corsair QX 140 Fans and 3 120’s at max rpm with rgb on for about another 160w.To have consistency I also swapped back to the 2070 and was able to get a post instantly, ran tests for a while, swapped back to the 5080, posted immediately again as well. Both my cx550 and rm850 posted my system, with the 850 being able to handle an overclocked 5080 with no hiccups, but two hx 1200i failed to boot my system at all, and even for the 2 times it did, the system was distractingly unstable. I hypothesize this has something to do with tbis power supplies single/multirail gimmick, and supposedly ships from the factory in multi rail mode which can cause boot issues. However, using the cx to power the system, and having the hx powered by a separate cord and plugged into a usb header and jumping the pins to power it on, while iCue was able to detect the device and install the firmware, iCue failed to show the device in the device list, meaning I couldn’t even swap modes or even verify which mode it’s even in effectively preventing me from diagnosing if multi rail mode is the issue, effectively making the hx series as a whole bricked for me.Update: The power supply I wound up buying is a Seasonic Prime TX 1300 and this has also successfully booted the system with both the 2070S, and the 5080 on the 3800x, and has booted with the 2070S and the 5080 with my 9800X3D and msi mag x870e. Further leading me to concluding the HX psu’s aren’t as reliable on wider ranges if hardware.

Needed this for a 5090
Needed this PSU for the RTX 5090. It hasn't given me any problems since I bought it, and it's pretty silent. it comes with an included 12VHPWR cable, which I am using on my GPU. So far power delivery hasn't been an issue at all and all the cables the PSU comes with is of premium quality. All of them are braided and are pretty flexible.Recommended for any high end build.

Lo recomiendo MLZ
Llego con una buena envoltura de Amazon, sin embargo la caja original llego con un golpe fuerte, posiblemente antes de realizar el envió, fuera del golpe el producto llego sin daños.

Quality PSU, worth the money.
Solid, well-built PSU, very stable output.Fan stops when PC is idle for super quiet standby operation. The modular cable system had plugs for everything, including new-style GPU power plugs.

Pricey, but great PSU
I've built a lot of computers and this is by far, the best power supply i've bought.I've built with EVGA 750, Corsair 850 RMx, this.... the built-in cable management tabs for the wires is a really great addition. Previously, and with older GPUs you're kind of stuck with using tie-wraps and cutting them. With this, you can use the built in cable metal cable-bends to make sure they are exactly as you want and the wires will follow the bend properly it's fabulous. I'm using this with an RTX 5080 ProArt (Asus, I like sleek GPUs less RGB) and it looks great. You can power 4 SATA devices with a single cable as well, saving clutter for some of the old stuff. If you have an available USB 2.0 Header on your motherboard, it also allows to collect metrics of usage, efficiency and each rail usage with Corsair iCUE (great for nerds like me)
