Chosen Foods Steakhouse Caesar Dressing & Marinade 8 oz with Recipe e-Book Bundle

I enjoy many products from the Chosen Foods brand so I decided to try their version of my favorite dressing. I usually make my own salad dressings but it's nice to have a quick option when in a pinch. What I love about Chosen foods is that they use clean ingredients in their products. This Caesar dressing is no different. It has no artificial ingredients, made with avocado oil, and it tastes great! The texture is thinner than the traditional Caesar dressing but the flavor is good. I would have preferred a more pronounced anchovy flavor but that's just me. Overall, I like this dressing from Chosen Foods and it is a good healthy alternative to homemade. Worth mentioning is their excellent protective packaging--- Amazon should learn a thing or two from them. Great value for the price.

Flavor: I'm not generally a fan normally of some anchovy Caesar dressings but some of them are pretty good. This is one of the good ones. The chicken Caesar salad that I made with this was absolutely delicious. The oil coated every leaf of lettuce perfectly. Value: At 8oz, it's a small bottle, but a little goes a long way as it thinly coats your salad. I'd say that this could do about 9-12 salads. (about 3-4 salads for the family). Currently at over $1.5 per ounce, it's one of the more expensive dressings as you can find other Caesar dressings for a tenth of that price. That said, it's one of the better tasting dressings with much more appealing ingredients. Ingredients: One of the main ingredients are Avocado oil, which is a great oil. (Today, people are avoiding seed oils and this isn't a seed oil.) The next main ingredient, interestingly, is pear juice. I'm not going to lecture on the ingredients list, so check it out for yourself. It's one of the better ingredient lists I've seen. As with most dressings it does have a good amount of calories and sodium.

Did not fancy my taste buds at all

This was my first time trying this type of caesar dressing and it did not disappoint. The dressing tastes pretty good like any other caesar you might've tried before so it doesn't taste odd despite the unique ingredients. This is made with avocado oil and more healthy ingredients than the typical dressing. The dressing still has a lot of calories but is still good when I don't use as much in my salad. The dressing tastes wonderful with my salads. I'd recommend shaking this before using each time though because it tends to separate a lot when not being used.

I was expecting your typical thick, garlicky, and cheesy Caesar dressing. This is not that. It's very thin compared to regular Caesar dressing and looks a lot more like Italian dressing. In fact, I found the actual taste to be more like Italian dressing than Caesar dressing, only not as acidic and sour as normal Italian dressing. Think of it as sort of a middle ground between Italian and Caesar. Overall, I do still like this dressing. It's not too strong and overwhelming and tastes good.

Love the taste and the consistency. I have been putting it on all my salads and absolutely love using this dressing. It doesn't feel greasy and it taste incredible. It's very versatile and I've used it on cabbage, lettuce and even on my sandwiches. I really like the ingredients and the consistency of the mix. The avocado oil is a really nice touch as well and it helps with the taste.

I tried this caesar dressing tonight, I like it! The taste of the dressing is pretty classic to me, a typical caesar dressing taste. The texture of the dressing is different from classic caesar dressing, this dressing is more liquidy, compared to the creamy texture of the classic type. The dressing is made from 100% avocado oil, which sets this dressing different from classic type. I personally like this one over the classic one, avocado oil is a very good oil for cooking and contains good fats. Overall, I think this caesar dressing totally works, and I think my caesar salad tastes pretty good with this dressing! :)

My kid is a HUGE Caesar salad fan, so when he gives the thumbs up, you know it's good. The dressing was very flavorful, with just the right amount of umami funk. We added a lot of black pepper, but that's normal for us. As others have said, it's on the thin side, but I actually like it like that. Thick dressing is fine if you are tossing a large amount of salad in a bowl, but if you are just putting dressing on top of the salad, it's easier to distribute if it's thinner. This will be our new go-to dressing. Yum!
