What's the trick to get it to use the voice talking saying 'garage' instead of the melody?

I don't know that voice is an option with this alarm, only different melodies. I will say this seems to be an excellent product, mine has been in since Spring and still on the original batteries. Very reliable, no false alarms, works very well.

Are all receivers and transmitters operating on the same code? Can I add a receiver at a later time?

Does the receiver have settings memory on loss of power ?

We had a 10 hour outage and it was still paired.. There is a button battery inside the receiver and I would believe that is to keep the memory during loss of power.

can you plug in receiver indoors when monitors are outdoor use only

I have two of these sensors. One is at the head of the driveway, roughly 100 yards away from the plugged in receiver in the house. The second is another 30 feet beyond the driveway sensor mounted inside my mailbox which is not visible from my house. Mailman opening the door sets off the chime and I get my mail before it can be stolen. HTZSAFE customer service is excellent too btw
