Not a complicated task
Item was as described and installation was straightforward, no issues. It is a two-handed operation so you might want to have a pair of needle-nosed pliers handy to pull the latch wires into place. Just makes that easy and quick.

Easy installation
This was a replacement on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado. It seemed to be just as good as the original and was easy to install.

affordable replacement
Quality was good, no issues to install the parts but used the original bolts. The plastic rod clips seemed deformed a bit, had to pry them apart with a screw driver and carefully push then onto the rods. They are not near the quality of the originals. Saved the original clips , probably should have just switched them. Just a bit of adjustment and the tailgate works fine. 2006 Sierra 1500 4x4 Ext cab
