Pros: What is there to say? There are pieces of metal machined to fit together. My expectations were extremely low for the price, but I was blown away in amazement. It's rigid enough to hold a monitor beyond its reported weight limit. All the weight is pushing down so moving it side to side is easy. I was concerned at first because the majority of crimping mounts had small clamps overtop. I installed this on a glass desk. Luckily the part in contact with the glass is big enough to spread the weight but not as so attract attention to itself. Included are clips for wire management that I found really useful. Almost Cons: The mount for the monitor itself works amazing. However, I have a curved monitor so part of it doesn't actually make contact with the monitor. Surprisingly, however, it has no effected anything nor does it shake whatsoever. The spacers included does a fairly well job of compensating the curve. If you have a monitor beyond a 24" with a curvature equivalent to the radius of a 1500mm circle, then get the monitor's corresponding mount. If you have a regular monitor, I heavy suggest this mount. Overall, this is a good product for day-to-day use.

This is the first monitor mount that I have purchased. The price of this mount was my main reason for purchasing this unit. While I didn't really know what to expect as far as quality, features and usability, I can say I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. The mount is well built and comes with two methods of mounting the arm. It comes with a plate to permanently attach the arm to a surface or vice type attachment for non-permanent mounting. I used the vice attachment for a non-permanent mount. The vice provides a very solid mount that hasn't slipped or moved during my use of the mount. I am using the mount with a 24" monitor. I am not sure of the weight of this monitor, but the mount holds it very well and it stays in what ever position I place it in. I use the mount to place my monitor in front of a CRT monitor when it is not in use. So, the monitor gets moved around quite a bit. Over the several months that I have owned the mount, I have not noticed any weakening of the mount's hinging mechanisms. Like I have previously stated, when I place the monitor in a position, it stays with out slipping or moving. The mount also has very nice cable management built into the unit. In closing, I am very pleased with this mount and would purchase another one if ever I had the need.

It has worked well for me, at first for a small 18" touch monitor and now a 23". I can't speak for bigger monitors except to say this mount is solid and will definitely support more weight! I installed it by drilling a hole in my desk, be ready to take this step if the back edge of your computer is not that accessible. If it's within a couple inches of a wall, you won't be able to use the regular desk edge clamp mount, and you'll have to use the other mount that requires drilling a hole. Be sure that where you want to drill that hole is accessible on your desk too! Overall it's very solid in place, there's a tiny bit of play in the monitor, it's not 100% solid, but no mount like this will be. I still found it solid enough to use a touch screen on it, "your mileage may vary" on that. Don't know what else to say, it's overkill for small monitors but very solid and I went through about three of these before I settled on this one. It's serving me well on a 4 monitor setup putting a second monitor above my main monitor.

I purchased this stand to mount a 22” monitor on my recording setup as space is limited and I wanted to be able to adjust the position of the monitor. It came with clear instructions and all hardware sorted in separate, numbered bag compartments so it was very easy to assemble. I am impressed with the robust steel construction, and all components are very strong and durable which I was not expecting for the reasonable price. The mounting clamp is excellent and easy to use with multiple adjustments to allow it to fasten to almost any thickness of desktop. The wire routing clips will accept wires of different types and thicknesses and keep the wires organized for a very clean appearance. I have positioned my monitor with the support arm extended about 12” center to center with the upright post which applies considerable leverage to the clamp, so I placed a small rectangular piece of MDF at that point to ensure that the clamp does not leave any indentation in the top of the work surface. Adjustment is easy, but it does require two Allen wrenches which can be misplaced, and I would prefer to have adjustment knobs which would be more convenient. I have a small computer module on the back of my monitor, but the overall size and weight are still in the range specified for this stand. However, I could not get the tilt adjustment to stay in position no matter how much I tightened it, as the tilt assembly has smooth washers between the yoke and the monitor holder which do not generate enough friction for the tilt adjustment to hold its position. To address this, I widened the yoke slightly in my workshop to make room for a toothed washer on either side as shown in the picture. With these washers in place, the tilt assembly works fine and holds the monitor in any position needed. Overall, I like this stand and I think it is very well-made for the price. If the tilt mechanism held fast with no modifications and adjustments did not require Allen wrenches, I would have given it a five-star rating.

I recently set-up a home office in my basement, and I decided that I needed another screen. I already had a stand for my laptop and a mount for a separate monitor. Although I had some desk space for the new monitor that I purchased, it was not at a good viewing angle. This was a touch-based monitor, and it was hard to get it close enough to make the touch features while still keeping it at eye level. I knew that another mount would likely solve this issue, but I'm really impressed with how configurable this mount was. It's very easy to move the mount up and down, and this lets me move my monitor out of the way easily if I still want to see the monitor but have more access to the desk space below it. That's a feature that I didn't even know I would want, and I'm very happy with how this helped me to maximize the usable desk space. Now, I will say that the instructions were not very easy to understand. It showed several methods for installing, yet the steps seemed to very similar. I'm not sure if I put it together "correctly" or not, but it's held up fine for the past few months, and I have concerns about keeping the monitor safe. It could be difficult for someone who isn't very experienced with assembling equipment. Otherwise, this was an absolute slam dunk for the price. Very happy with my purchase.

Amazing!

I bought this four months ago. It holds well - once you position it, it will stay in that position. But it's such a pain to adjust to a new position (you have to tighten/untighten allen screws) that I never want to adjust it. I adjusted it today and my husband had to tighten all the screws while I held the monitor in place where I wanted it to be. I'm on here now looking for one that adjusts with springs or pneumatics or something maybe so that minor adjusts aren't such a pain.

I am ABSOLUTELY shocked at the quality of this purchase. Look at my other reviews, I'm not in the biz or hoping to get noticed. I'm just WAY more pleased than a normal budget amazon order. This is much sturdier than the listing gives it credit for. The pole alone is heavy enough to be sold as a weapon for this price. In the listing I assumed the clamp for the desk was the size of a tennis ball but it's much closer to the size of a large coffee mug, and those brackets are 1/4" rigid with no give. I needed something tall enough to to accommodate a wide monitor in portrait, and the more expensive models all looked like they were designed to look cool in 2003, so I just looked for one of the cheapest, plainest models and landed on this one. My 29" monitor is two thirds of the way up the pole, fully extended on the arm, and I'm just writing this gushing review because I'm usually saying "you get what you pay for" right about now.

Ich habe mich für die C-Klemme entschieden, die meinen Schreibtisch bombenfest umklammert, ohne dabei die Tischoberfläche zu beschädigen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist, wie viel Platz ich jetzt auf meinem Schreibtisch habe. Die Halterung hebt meinen Monitor von der Oberfläche weg, wodurch ich endlich mehr Raum für andere Dinge habe.
