Fantastic shoes!!
I did some research on the best shoes for someone who has bad knees and flat feet. I read research on what type to look for, looked through articles, found rankings on different shoes and then read personal reviews on several types. These continued to pop up. They were at the top of all the lists and had great reviews time & time again!! So I decided to bite the bullet and get them for our anniversary. So glad I did! My husband has been wearing them for weeks now and absolutely loves them! He hikes often with our dogs and we stand for long periods during church and he has made several comments about how great these shoes are and how much better his knees and feet feels vs before!!! They fit well, as expected. Looks just like the photos. They are lightweight but made well and should last a while! Arrived pretty quick, within days! Price isn't too bad for them. Overall very very pleased with this purchase!! I do hope this review helps!

Good support, medium cushiony, excellent fit.
This review is for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 Supportive in color "Alloy/White/Gold Fusion". I've been a fan of Brooks running shoes for a while now. I've had the Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive and the Ghost Max 2 Neutral before this. I still use both of those, actually. I got those because they came recommended for people who get knee pain due to running. The Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive is medium cushiony. It's fairly firm, especially compared with the Ghost Max 2 Neutral. The Ghost Max 2 is incredibly squishy in its cushion. It's so cushiony that I find it a little annoying to walk in. It's excellent for walking outdoors on hard asphalt, which is what I use it for. It's like walking on a cloud. But the Ghost Max 2 is terrible on a gravel or a dirt track. That's because when you have a dirt track or gravel path, you will have some instability due to rolling. You don't want something that squishes around on you when you have that instability. You want something more supportive and solid, less cushiony. That's where the GTS Supportive line of Brooks shoes comes in. GTS means Go To Support apparently. The cushion on these Adrenaline shoes is about a medium level to me. It's just slightly less than the Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive that I have, but not a lot less. Both of those shoes are almost equivalent to me. The Gylcerine GTS 19 Supportive became firmer over time, by the way, and I expect that to be true of these Adrenaline shoes as well. The cushion on this Adrenaline is more noticeable when you have a long stride and strike on your heel. Then the back part of the shoe that sticks out a little will just squish a huge amount, which I suppose is smart in order to save your knees from damage. But when your foot strikes on the ball, it's hardly noticeable. (That's good!) Mid-foot strikes get some cushion, though, and it's noticeable. Between the mid-sole and heel, it gains cushion. The feel isn't super squishy landing on the mid-heel with a medium stride, but it is squishy. Stability is good on these. Not excellent, but just good. You won't roll all that much. To be the most stable, though, would require a very firm cushion or no cushion at all. So you would use these Adrenaline shoes for running on asphalt, dirt, and light gravel tracks. I use my Glycerine GTS 19 Supportive primarily for running on a dirt track near me, and so the Adrenaline GTS 24 Supportive should do just as well on dirt tracks. For dirt tracks, these are great. I'm also using the Adrenaline for an indoor treadmill. Though, I think I may ultimately decide to go with a very firm shoe for the treadmill just because my treadmill has cushion built-in. I don't want to over-cushion while on the treadmill, and I need the stability while on the treadmill to avoid accidents while my attention is on something else. The fit is excellent for me. But fit is subjective. My preferred shoe width is a "D", or just slightly less than a D. These are perfect. They fit well with very little room side to side. So they fit almost like a glove width-wise for me. You want that, because otherwise if you have room in your shoe for your foot to move around, then you can get blisters over time. For you, the fit just depends. But I love them.

Consistent quality and good fitment.
I have stayed with the GTS Adrenaline line of Brooks athletic shoes for several years now. For me, the fitment is just right out of the box. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe but need a little more room in the toe area, so I get the size 10. After about 6 months, the shoes do tend to loosen up and then there is a bit too much room in the toe area, but by that time I'm really needing new cushioning anyway, and these become yard shoes, and I get a new pair.

Brooks Men’s Adrenaline GTS 24 Supportive Running Shoe
What I Like ✅ Excellent Stability & Support The GuideRails holistic support system helps keep your feet aligned and minimizes excessive inward motion, making these especially helpful for runners who overpronate or need a little extra support on longer runs. It doesn’t feel overly restrictive — just a reassuring sense of control underfoot thanks to a firmer yet cushioned midsole. ✅ Comfortable Cushioning Brooks’ DNA LOFT v3 foam offers a soft, supportive ride that feels good at slow to moderate paces and helps absorb impact on asphalt and concrete. It’s not “max-cushion” like some plush models, but it’s balanced enough for daily training and recovery runs. ✅ Breathable Upper & Everyday Wearability The engineered mesh upper lets your feet stay cool, and the padded tongue and collar make these comfortable even for casual all-day wear or long walks. Most runners find them true to size when selecting the right width. A Few Things to Know ⚠️ Fit Can Be Narrow for Some Some runners mention that the Adrenaline GTS 24 feels a bit narrow or snug, especially compared to past versions or other brands, so consider trying a half-size up or going with a wider fit if you’re between sizes. ⚠️ Not Built for Speed Work While awesome for daily runs and long miles, they feel a bit heavier and less responsive than shoes designed for faster tempo runs or racing. ⚠️ Some Break-In Time A handful of users have reported mild rubbing or blistering early on, especially around the arch or instep, which suggests a brief break-in period might be needed. If your priority is support, stability, and comfort for daily road running or long training miles, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 delivers a dependable ride with thoughtful cushioning and structural support that many runners appreciate. They’re especially great for those with overpronation or anyone who wants a reliable everyday trainer. Would recommend them for: ✔️ Daily training & easy runs ✔️ Walkers or runners with mild pronation ✔️ Anyone needing reliable support without sacrificing comfort Would be cautious if you want: ❌ A speed-focused, ultra-light shoe ❌ A very wide fit without trying wider options first

Heel striker approved
As someone who is a heel striker, finding a running shoe that actually stays comfortable after long use is tough. I’ve put hundreds of miles on these Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 and they’ve never let me down. I’ve worn them through full days at theme parks walking nonstop, during police fitness testing, workouts, running, and even throughout Army boot camp training. They stay supportive, comfortable, and stable no matter what I throw at them. My feet, knees, and back definitely feel better compared to other shoes I’ve tried. The cushioning is great without feeling too soft, and the support really helps if you overpronate or heel strike like I do. They’re not flashy — they just work and get the job done every single time.

A Great Athletic Shoe For Flat Feet
I’ve always had trouble finding shoes that fit my flat wide feet. These Brooks have been the perfect solution to my problem. The box of the shoe is wide enough for my feet and the shoe provides the right amount of support for flat feet without causing any pain. I thought pain with flat feet and shoes was common until I started using this product. Now, I’m able to jog about 400 to 500 miles a year on the treadmill with a pair of these shoes without any pain. They start to wear out after a year and a half. They are a little bit expensive but they are worth it if you have flat feet like me.
