I'm using this leg brace as part of a lick deterrent system due to a lick granuloma on my labrador. So far it had worked really well. Here is the pros: This brace is made from what feels like wet suit material. It dries fairly quickly, has a little give and takes a licking. The velcro is very good, like industrial strength velcro. You get 2! And they are washable! Here's the cons: While it is easy on, it can also be easy off. I've fallen asleep for 30 mins and he's managed to snake it off. However, he's never been able to undo the velcro. After 2 weeks he's started to leave it alone when we put it on. He knows that it's the brace or the cone. Product will start to fray after a month or so, if you are dealing with a lick granuloma go ahead and but 2 sets. I'm getting ready to order my 2nd set today. Make sure you pair this with using the soft cone if you are going to be gone for an extended period, like taking a nap or taking a poop. This brace will try to come off if dog is rough-housing with family or friends unless put on pretty tightly. I usually have a sports wrap underneath of it, that seems to give it better traction. All in all this is a great weapon to have in the first aid arsenal. If you are dealing with a lick granuloma, I just want you to know that there are many others also fighting this battle. We are still trying to find the cause and are narrowing down to OCD or nebulous allergies. Keep up the good fight! And remember: Kennel, Cone, and Wrap. Exercise, Attention and Games.

I liked it cuz it had metal strips on two sides for better support & not to expensive. It's tearing at the stitching in less than a wk. See photo. I'm glad it came with two braces. Also the longer strap did not have the other part of the velcro it sticks onto from a 2part velcro. Not sure if this was intentional. It does grab the fabric of the strap but, difficult to remove. However, the plus is, it makes it difficult for the dog to remove.

16 pound puppy, I ordered a small. It fits perfectly with room for him to grow. He fractured his leg on Christmas and keeps ripping up the vet wrap & getting the metal splint off so I figured buying this would save me money on all the vet wrap we’re wasting. It fits, he’s acting like it’s comfy, he hasn’t bitten/chewed at it at all, and he’s able to run around and be a puppy while this gives his leg extra support. I pulled the velcro pretty tight so it hasn’t slipped down and his toes are the normal color and normal size so I know it hasn’t cut off circulation. I definitely recommend this!

My dog was limping bad one his front left leg. I decided to try this out and it has wore the hair off of my dogs leg and has caused an infection underneath it. He is now limping worse than ever and his paw is swollen huge! This thing is garbage and I recommend no one buy this and put it on your dog! You will regret it! We ya e 3 large dogs and have used many products over the past several years and this one is by far the worst I have ever bought.

I love these sleeves and we’re on our second pair. My foster was hit by a car and has a shattered pelvis and broken femoral heads. He back feet knuckle under and these sleeves give his feet enough support to keep his toes up while he goes potty in the morning. Then I take them off and put on his splints. He tears them up pretty fast so I have to sew them a lot but that’s not because they’re not made well, he’s just hard on them. The Velcro is so strong that I have a hard time getting it apart sometimes because of arthritis. I don’t know what I’d do without them, they save his toes from being torn up. If you use them long term like us, they stay on better if you anchor the top strap above his hock. But I put casting cotton with vet wrap over it first or it rubs. Also don’t put them too tight, I’ve made his legs swell up by making them too tight. All in all they are wonderful. I tried the ones without metal in them and they didn’t help. These are a godsend, I’m so glad I found them.

The product seems well made and durable. However, it keeps sliding down on my dog's leg...so it does no good. I've tried adjusting it several times, but still can't keep it from sliding down. I've wrapped it tight around my dog's leg, but still won't stay up. If I can figure out how to keep this thing up, I'll update my review.

I was really pleased with this product! I have a 10 and 1/2 year old Australia Shepherd mix who weights about 100 lbs who suffers from arthritis in his front leg joints. I bought the L/XL and it was the perfect size. I was unsure about buying from this seller because there was only 1 review, but the other option I was looking at was $17 for one brace and this seller gives two braces for $12!! They seem to be good quality and I used them on my dog during his evening walk tonight and I was very pleased with the support they seemed to give him. A little early yet on official results but I would recommend for anyone looking for a good quality flexible brace for your dog's front legs at an affordable price!
