Our Bosch dishwasher was giving the E-24 error several times a week for years. The techs that came out to service kept saying it looked fine. Finally after the warranty ran out they wanted to charge me $450 to replace the pump. We did not do that and I just kept vacuuming out the water every time it gave the E-24 error. Finally got to the point of buying this part and replacing it myself. I was worried I would mess up the dishwasher and we would need a new one, which is what kept me from doing this before. The part was super easy to install and the dishwasher works better than it did when we first got it! Saved us $420 on repairs and even better, we didn't have to buy a new dishwasher. Pretty good return for a $30 part!

After getting an E25 error on my Bosch dishwasher, I found out that it meant the dishwasher was not discharging water. I ordered the pump and when it arrived I began removing the panels necessary to get to the pump. When I finally got the pump out, I checked to see if the motor was seized. It was not. I put my finger in the pump housing to see if anything was in there and this pull-tab dropped out. The pull-tab was jamming the impeller on the pump, and luckily I discovered that before putting in the new pump and having the same problem. Since I already had the new pump, I decided to install it. Probably not needed, but whatever. It was an easy job, took about a half an hour and my dishwasher works again!
