At 52 and post-menopausal, I’ve become extremely picky about cleansers. When your skin is already dry, the wrong cleanser can undo the work of every serum and moisturizer you apply afterward. I’ve used everything from inexpensive drugstore cleansers to luxury brands like Sulwhasoo, Decorté, RéVive, and plenty of Korean skincare over the years, and what I’ve learned is that a cleanser doesn’t need to be exciting—it just needs to respect your skin barrier. This one absolutely does. The first thing I noticed was the texture. It starts as a rich cream and transforms into a light, silky foam as you massage it into damp skin. It isn’t one of those cleansers that creates mountains of bubbles just for the sake of it. Instead, it produces enough lather to cleanse thoroughly while still feeling incredibly gentle. After rinsing, my skin felt clean - but more importantly, it didn’t feel stripped. That tight, squeaky feeling that so many cleansers leave behind simply wasn’t there. My skin felt soft, comfortable, and hydrated, which is exactly what I want before moving into the rest of my routine. The ingredient list is well thought out. It combines gentle cleansing agents with ingredients that actually support the skin while you wash. Ceramide NP helps support the moisture barrier, while glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, sodium PCA, urea, and trehalose all contribute hydration instead of taking it away. There are also soothing ingredients like bisabolol along with botanical extracts such as apple, ginger, and turmeric. For a cleanser, it’s a surprisingly impressive formula. I like that this doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It isn’t marketed as an exfoliating treatment or a miracle anti-aging cleanser. Its job is to cleanse effectively while leaving the skin comfortable, and it accomplishes that extremely well all while being fragrance - free. I’ve been using it as my morning cleanser and occasionally as my second cleanse at night after removing sunscreen. In both cases, it performs really well. My skin feels refreshed without feeling compromised, and my serums absorb nicely afterward because I’m not immediately trying to replenish moisture that the cleanser removed. The packaging deserves a mention, too. The large 350 mL pump bottle is practical, easy to use, hygienic, and generous. One pump is usually enough for my face, so I expect this bottle to last quite a while. I also like that it’s suitable for both face and body, making it a good value. Who is this best for? Anyone with normal, dry, dehydrated, or mature skin who wants a gentle daily cleanser that supports the skin barrier instead of constantly challenging it. If you’re someone who struggles with tightness after washing your face, this is exactly the kind of formula I’d recommend. If you have very oily skin or you love that ultra-deep, squeaky-clean feeling, you may find this too gentle. But for my mature, dry skin, that’s precisely why I like it. I’ve tried a lot of cleansers over the years, and while cleansers rarely become favorites, this one has. It leaves my skin feeling healthier after every wash instead of making me rush to put moisturizer on immediately.

Oh my goodness I LOVE this cleanser! I already have and use Remedy deep moisturizing cream in the white bottle- it is an excellent basic, no actives, hydrating moisturizer that is perfect for post laser or if you have any flare ups and cannot use actives. Oily skin will not like it, it is too moisturizing and it will not absorb fast enough for you. Their lighter version will be better for you. My HG lip balm is remedy- it is like lip silk, stays nicely balmy and last for about an hour then dries down and my lips are still moisturized and I am not searching for my lip balm to rehydrate—- exactly what I want in a lip balm, especially after wearing a lip color that dried me out. My other HG lip balm is Mario b and perlier. For reference I greatly dislike Sara h and lanege. Ok so now you know what I like and what I do not like so you can better understand what I think of the product and how this might work out for you. This cleanser is perfect for both oily and dry because of how it goes from a cream to LIGHTLY foaming. I use PC ultra hydrating cream cleanser for years because it so creamy and leaves my skin soft, but I do need to cleanse 2x if I wore heavier makeup and/or sunscreen that day because it does not foam at all—- which is a very good thing for those with dry skin. The foaming agent can be too drying for many w/ dry skin. That cleanser has also went sky high in price to nearly double what it was 5 years ago. Here comes this new remedy cleanser, my new HG! Remedy has somehow found a happy sweet spot with just enough foam to get at the sunscreen and mascara, but is still nice and creamy that leaves my skin soft! It is also half the price of PC, which it should be because there aren’t any expensive actives in this to drive up the price! This is a GOOD thing in your cleanser. You do not need actives in your cleanser unless you are going to leave the cleanser on your skin for at least 10-15 min. Very rarely do I have time for that- I gotta get in and get moving. I’ll spend that time on my post shower skincare and hair are and maybe a quiet cup of coffee. This is hands down one of the best cleanser I have ever used. Someone mentioned they used the remedy cleaning balm first and then this cleanser it was fantastic together—- ty for that tip! I will be trying that!

OBSESSED with this cleanser! It only takes a tiny amount to create a really nice foam, so I know this bottle is going to last me a while. The best part is how my skin feels afterward…clean, soft, and moisturized instead of dry, tight, or stripped like so many other face washes I've used. Since I wear sunscreen every day and usually wear makeup, I like to double cleanse. This cleanser works great as my second cleanse, leaving my skin feeling completely clean without robbing my skin of moisture. I use Tretinoin five days a week, so I was looking for a cleanser that was gentle but still hydrating, and this one has been perfect. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and comfortable every time I use it. I also love that it's dermatologist-developed, fragrance-free, and clinically tested. Plus, it contains ceramides, glycerin, and panthenol, which help support my skin barrier while I'm using Tretinoin. This has definitely earned a permanent spot in my skincare routine, and I'd happily repurchase it!

This cleanser has a wonderful feel on the skin. It takes very little cleanser to remove all make up and does not leave anything behind. This cleanser is simply exceptional. It rinses off easily and does not leave the skin feeling overly moisturized or dry.

This is AMAZING. This brand is quickly turning into my new favorite in several areas. I usually use cleansing oil. Cleansing balm if I wore makeup. I am a tough customer but this surprised me. First of all, I always go my the ounces, not bottle size but this wins in both departments. It has measures pumps. I accidentally used two pumps the first time and that is enough for my fave AND body. One is more than enough for a face. It feels very slippy to borrow from hair products descriptors but definitely lathers profusely and thoroughly cleans. No smell. I am guessing this will become a multi-tasking desert-island staple for me.

The end result is moisturizing without feeling greasy. It is fragrance free, not that foaming but easy to wash off. The size of the bottle lasts for months.

I absolutely love remedy products, and I loved everything about this product except for the cap started smelling after a while even after I soaked it in alcohol. The product itself stays on your lips for a very long time, overnight actually was great for me instead of Vaseline. You don't need to reapply it constantly which is wonderful. You also have to be careful with the tube considering I had to return my first one because the tube burst. This one has not, but I have been using it from the bottom as opposed to squeezing in the middle. Very thick, perfect for me and worth a try. Extremely hydrating.

I really enjoy this cleanser. I have rosacea and this cleanser has not caused any reaction. It is so soft and emollient on the skin. I plan to buy more products from this line.
