Tillamook Country Smoker is a 45 year old company based in Bay City, Oregon U.S.A. using our original family recipes. Art Crossley started making our perfectly smoked meats at his family butcher shop in Bay City and soon moved into our current location in the early 70's. Review: Yummy, a nice duality between sweet and heat - I'd attach a picture to this review, but I can't because the jerky seemed to disappear into thin air once the bag was opened. It's so good you can't put it down, and if you do then the heat will hit you. so keep eating! The spicy-ness is a solid 5/10 in a good way, most products that claim to be spicy are little more than the heat of a bell pepper to appease the masses. but this jerky actually had me panting for a little bit, but it's more than just heat, It's sweet too and a nice sweet with a hint of pineapple and almost a Hawaiian undertone. It is also very tender, even more so than Mr. Link's brand overall it get's my seal of approval, and I would happily eat another bag.

I've ordered each flavor of jerky from this company and will continue to do so. The meat is always tender and the flavor is equally awesome whichever flavor you get. I order different flavors for different moods and am always confident of receiving a product coming with the high quality and dedication obvious in this brand's workmanship. It is also very tender, even more so than Mr. Link's brand overall it get's my seal of approval, and I would happily eat another bag.

I purchased this jerky to try it as I have not seen this flavor where I live. Honestly, I was disappointed in it as the jerky was extremely dry like it had been sitting on shelf for a very long time. But then I went straight to the manufacturer and purchased it. And it was very flavorful and had that needed jerky texture. Overall, I would say on a scale of 1-10 I would give it an 8 because I love the hint of hear that it had. Jerky is a hit or miss. But I do have to say I love the flavor of it I will by it again just from Tilamook out of Oregon.
