It's imperitive that you heat the plastic sleeve before trying to seat the banana plug
These are good quality. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. I was having trouble seating the banana plug in the sleeve. I came to see the reviews to see if others had this problem, and looking for suggestions. One said to heat the sleeve. I got out my heat gun, put it at low heat and heated each of four sleeves before inserting the banana plug (which had been impossible). As that reviewer said- it was "easy peasy".

Great for the price, good for general electrical measurement.
Great for the price. Remember, these are an economy replacement. That being said, they don't significantly skew the measurements of the meter and the original probe ends. I test on several things I know the measurement values of. They were within 1.5% ohms (higher) and 25 millivolts (lower) of the OEM leads. Tidy soldering skills and a very hot chisel pointed iron are needed to attach these. Blobs of excess solder would definitely prevent snapping the plug into the insulating shroud. It's a satisfying click into place when you get it right. Very happy with these.

OK banana plugs
Inexpensive banana plugs that work. Do not expect Pomona quality for the price...

Met my requirements for power supply leads
Applied these to the ends of 14 Awg (15 Amp) stranded silicone leads for a power supply. At first had difficulty inserting the plug into the shrouded housing. Decided to lightly heat the plastic shrouded housing in the vicinity of the engagement (SMD hot-air pencil) and use a mating gender to push the plug into the housing until seated, allow to cool, worked perfectly.

Once I figured out how to install them great. Solder the wire with the cover on the wire but away from the metal. Then with very hot air gun heat the metal while it is in a vice and the push plastic onto the metal plug. If hot enough, very hot, the plastic should slide right and when cool will not come off. These are maybe one time use but I guess you could do the reverse and put the plastic back off.
