I love to burn beautiful candles and when I saw this alternative to typical wax candles I was intrigued. The black pearls are beautiful, I filled 2 bowls and a small vase with the pearls, inserted the wicks and lit them. I love the fact that they are non-toxic, no black smoke, and the decorating possibilities are endless. I can reuse old candle jars that I hated to throw away because they were so pretty. They burn beautifully and after blowing them out I can reposition the pearls, put in another wick and its ready to go again. I definitely plan on purchasing other colors. And it's a great gift idea for those hard to buy for. Recommend!

This candle kit performed exactly as I hoped it would and at a fair price, based on the competition. It was easy to set up. I cut the wicks in half based on my needs, and even though the wicks lit easily, there was enough wind on the day I used it that the wicks blew out from time to time. Clean up was easy too.

This nice but not much fragrance. I was a little disappointed. Even sitting next to it I couldn't smell the fragrance.

The good: The candle is really neat. I like how you can put it in any vessel. They give you multiple wicks, and each wick lasts a pretty long time -- more than an hour, but I didn't time it exactly. The reason I gave it 4 stars: 1) The box if very sleek and modern, but there was an issue with mine. When I tried to separate the box, the bottom came unglued and the beads started falling all over the floor. Luckily I only lost a little bit. The beads are not in a plastic bag or anything to contain them, so just be careful when opening it. 2) The beads are tiny. It's almost like the texture of sand. And if it spills, it will get all over the place. Make sure if you leave them out, that nothing will knock it them because the beads will get everywhere. Neither of those two warnings are deal breakers, just more a "hey be aware so this doesn't happen to you." Overall, I really like these and plan on buying more.
