First off, the texture is that fun jelly, slightly sticky feel, which makes you immediately feel like your makeup is going to stay put all day. And to be fair it really does help foundation grip nicely and go on smoother. My makeup definitely looks more even and fresh when I use this. It’s also nicely hydrating, which I love. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry, and it gives a subtle, natural glow without looking greasy. Plus, it’s translucent, so no weird white cast or anything like that. HOWEVER… it’s not completely perfect: The “grip” is good, but not super glue level (don’t expect miracles on very long days) It can feel a tiny bit tacky if you use too much and make your face slightly dry I found the staying power is better than nothing but not dramatically life-changing That said, for the price, it still does a really solid job.
