These both stay a lot cleaner because there is no weird plastic film for residue to get stuck on but also appear clean because they are metal. They fit exactly to size for my 40 oz Stanley and doesn't affect the temperature. The straw doesn't get too cold when put in a full cup of ice water and it doesn't have a weird taste.
