Lovely blender, the battery last long. I’ve mine over 1 year and it still doing fine the job.

Terrible design as others have pointed out. The base is pretty heavy. I just make the drink and then pour it into a glass so I don't have to lug the entire unit around. I've only had it 45 days and barely used. It is already jammed (flashing orange) and can't be made to work even with all the troubleshooting steps taken. I think it happened when I tried to make a smoothie with frozen fruit that included raspberries. Those little seeds are always getting stuck in teeth, etc. I WAS able to get customer support (in Columbia, no less!) to do a replacement although it isn't the same color I have now. Beggars can't be choosy. Because of their help, I gave this 3 stars where I would have given it 1. The other issue I had was the difficulty lining up the arrows to secure the container is properly sealed. This unit will not work otherwise (flashing white). It might be that I don't have the necessary strength as an 80 year old female to tighten it enough!! Oh well, I hope the replacement is easier to use.

Make sure you buy one that has accessories like a bottom cap and blade cover.

I had a different name brand portable blender and it didn’t seem to get my frozen fruit blended. This Ninja one does the trick. I love it. Works well, and there’s an “on and off” switch, so there’s no chance of accidentally hitting it and blending when you don’t intend to.
