how do i know it's fully charged?

You have to charge it when you get it. When you plug the charger in, the machine will display a red light, it stays red while charging and turns blue when is fully charged. Would charge overnight the first time, then seems to only take a couple of hours after that.

It Really Works!

I was amazed how clean my contacts were after my first try with this machine. I definitely would recommend it. NO MORE protein remover solution for me. And its so great, if there feeling dirty or foggy throw them in for 2 minutes with a saline solution. And there like new again. Its going to save me so much money and time! Just be sure to keep your machine dry and take care of it and it should last for a long time.

Works well but has inexpensive components

I found the unit cleans well but the lens buckets get warm when set to clean for 5 minutes. Also the lens buckets need to be dried after each use of they will deteriorate and perhaps rust. The lid hinge is very poorly reinforced, my hinge broke about 2 months ago on the lid side, just not enough material I think. A stronger hinge with stainless hinge pin would be a much better design especially if you travel with the unit, which was the main reason I bought mine (to do away with chemicals and the TSA confiscation thereof). I found the battery can be replaced easily and should be available on Amazon by model number, the lid should also be made available, it is not at this time.

Rusts

This was lifesaver when I took a trip where I couldn’t use the local water to clean my lens. I have had it for 7 months and no issues with charging. However, I’m now having rust issues. I. Ant return it or reach the manufacturer. I wiped it every time. Why rust now? Isn’t this supposed to be stainless steel? Will be shopping around for a different brand.
