Art Institute Glitter AG Metal tip, 1 Pack, Silver - METALTIP

This is that tip that gets you a finer glue line. No more squeezing glue out of a fire hose when you just want a finer line. If you use the Art Glitter glue and need a tip, this is the one people get. It took me forever to figure this out. I wasn’t part of a supportive community so I’m trying to save you the confusion. Take the black tip it comes with off and then you kinda screw this one on. The pin is also important. It hasn’t rusted and I’ve had this for over a year. I’ve been able to rinse the cap with the applied tip in very warm water to clean it, fully dry it, then put it on a new glue. The glue itself attaches and dries quickly to paper when two pieces are put together. I don’t notice a smell to the actual glue. I use so much less glue when I’m making my mixed media pieces or curated journals (“junk” journals). Hope this helps.

This was a great buy I lost the pen that I had for my art glitter glue and purchased another one and it works fine and it doesn't rust

I use Art Institute Glue almost every time I craft. After a while the fine tips of the glue get gunked up even it you keep a pin in them. It’s nice to be able to replace the tip whenever I need to.

Bought this for the 2 oz Art Glitter Glue. So far it's worked as advertised. At first I was skeptical only because how you put the silver cap on is odd, but just follow the instructions. Get someone to force it down and turn it. Don't use sewing pins if you lose the company pin you will get rust and don't push the factory pin they provide down all the way or it will be tough to remove. I have not seen any rust. Nice fine tip for intricate gluing.

I love Art institutes Glue, yes it’s PVA but it seems to be far superior to others and has never let me down. The Fine Nib simply pops onto the end and it allows me to use it on the finest of things, to write with and to add dots which can then be sprinkled with glitter or gems.
