can u use metal bats? and real baseballs?

Great machine! Unfortunately uou have to use their balls ONLY! Metal bats work great!

Can you hit these with a plastic or foam bat? Is aluminum better?

Plastic bat would be better. This is definitely a beginner pitcher. More for todlers. The balls are soft. I bought this for my 5yo and he outgrew it in about 2 months. Does.not throw far or hard.

can wiffle balls be used?

Where are you finding cheap replacement balls? Replacement balls for this are $17 for two balls ($8.50 each!).

What is everyone using for replacement balls? The official ones are $9 each. Crazy to me.

Should be about 10.00 for two yes it is crazy

Great pitching machine!

This pitching machine performed much better than expected! I gave it to my grandson for his 5th birthday and it was a total hit for the entire family! Seven adults and my grandson played nonstop for almost two hours. Even the two year old loved chasing the balls and reloading the machine. I purchased high quality batteries and it worked perfectly. I only wish the Amazon description would have mentioned the pitcher will also work with an A/C adapter that can be purchased separately. Considering the cost of the machine, the $7.00 adapter should have been included! Otherwise, I highly recommend!

Must have for a little baseball lover

Our 6 year old LOVES this! It’s great for working on hitting but also for catching. So much fun! First thing she wants to do when we get home from school.
