Very nice kit. You better have the right crimper or it will be a struggle. Engineer brand are the best!

I use it for fixing and building my 3D printers. It works exactly as it's supposed to no complaints :-).

I needed connectors for custom 3d printer, and these work great. Some advice though, on the male ends. If you put it in backwards then remove it, check the tab to make sure it isn't pressed down. If so, an exacto blade can get the tab back up again.

There is a nice selection and the box keeps them from getting mixed up, but they have a bad chemical smell (sort of chlorine like). I bought these and another set of JST connectors which smell even worse. I opened the boxes up and left them outside for a day to air out which helped a bit, but I won't be keeping these in the house.

Everything looks good, crimp tool is recommended. The retention in the connectors is a little weak but works fine.

The female crimps are 10mm long, the ones I am used to using are 12mm. They shorted the actual wire crimping area by almost 2mm. This makes them nearly impossible to use with my crimp tool without damaging the non-crimped area that connects with the male pins. The photo shows an example of the crimp included, next to a crimp from an older connector. The plastic housings are identical to the older style, but the metal crimps are too small. I'll be returning these.

Decent price for these connectors. Quality is decent and for this type it's not going to get much better quality wise anyway. Good buy
