It has made it through one and a half summers and still looks brand new. It gets western direct sunlight from 11am on and has not faded. I absolutely love the foldable pole to help unzip, get the cover back on, and zip it back up. It makes it simple, especially due to the height of the item. The pole folds out of the way and fits in my cross bar when done (see picture). There is enough room to get the cover around the umbrella and does not feel too tight. The zipper works well as well.
