Okay, I'll admit it, I was desperate for relief last week after suffering a slipped lumbar disc on top of severe sacroiliitis, which caused me to hit the floor and lay there helplessly like a character from an over-exaggerated comedy (I.E. Rebecca from the "Wine Country" movie...only without a family of raccoons visiting while I was down). After a painful and quick trip to the chiroprector to snap things back where they should be, I realized nerve pain and inflammation travels down hill as most poo situations doo. So, I ordered three different sacroiliac belts, because I wasn't sure which one would fit or work best, and I didn't want to drag out the trial and error, or return process figuring it out. NOBODY in my house wants to see this naturally "extra" woman be dramatic with pain...that would be pleonasticly redundant. (Ha Ha!) Anyway, out of the three purchased. This one was the instant winner. As soon as I locked that velcro belt in, and loaded the tension with the pulley side straps, I was walking on cloud 9. Everything just hit right! I believe what stood out above the competition is: 1. the elastic tightening straps work like a pulley, using less force by changing the direction of the force and increasing mechanical advantage (aka: less effort and a smaller/shorter movement to get a tighter fit around the hips=more relief) 2. The targeted compression and deep massager piece does something wonderful without feeling like it HAS too (it's a subtle comfort and not a hard wad of plastic made to distract you from the other pain) 3. There is a support bar that acts like a framework for the belt, that seems to help keep everything flat and in place on my booty (it is probably just there to hold the "deep massager" in place but I appreciate it's broader application). Quality, comfort, and RELIEF. Just TRY IT ALREADY and stop reading my babble!

I've had SI joint and sciatica issues for about 16 years and have used many products over the years. I ordered this particular belt for the removable compression pad as counter pressure helps my pain a lot. When the belt arrived it was missing that pad so I contacted the seller. They responded promptly, sent me a whole new belt with the pad and did not require me to send the old one back. They even gave me the option to try a different size which was great because it was a touch too small. The new size 2xl belt arrived with massager pad and its a great product!! I love the control I have over compression level by adjusting the velcro straps. I also like the hard shell design which gives awesome support. SI belts are the ONLY thing that alleviates my pain when I have flares and this is the best belt ive tried. Amazing customer service. 100 percent would recommend! If you're like me, a 40 year old mother of 4 with extra fat and skin around the middle I recommend one size up. I have a 40 inch hip measurement and 2XL was more comfortable than XL.

I ordered a XL size which is my size and couldn’t use it because it’s to tight. I couldn’t return it before 30 days because I was having health issues.

This is the first and only back brace to actually. give me some relief from low back pain, and sciatica. I've used one of those blue bands for years but it never really gave me much relief . I even bought one of those copper infused braces and it never really "hit the spot". This one is a Goldilocks in my book - not too big, not too little, but just right. It's shaped to contour over your behind, but not restrict your hips. A month before, I was prescribed one that hits you right over your hip bones and it caused so much pain, that I gave it back. I'm wearing this one right now, and they don't restrict your range of motion, at all. Just with them made them in beige.

I have back and SI trouble. I am also an occupational safety and helth speciaist (degreed and 20+ yearts experience.) The design of this belt impressed me, so I ordered it. Its fit and support worked well for me. However, when bending over the secondary straps do not hold. I need this for a work project that involves bending, so this will not work for me. For others this may ge a great belt.
