I don't usually care for most electrolyte drinks, especially the stevia sweetened ones, but COUNTRY FARMS Refreshers, with super greens and electrolytes, essential minerals and superfoods, wasn't bad. I ordered the Piña Colada flavor and while I wouldn't call it a good match to that specific flavor it had a pleasant tropical fruity flavor with a touch of greens. The gakky stevia aftertaste was minimal, but still there. I liked that in addition to the electrolytes, the product has fiber and whatever nutrients are supplied by the fruits and greens. It's a fine green powder that disperses easily in water and a measuring scoop is included. The canister contains 30 servings.

For me there’s a lot to like about this combination veggies, fruit, and hydration powder. The ingredients contain many fruit and vegetable components (including leaves, roots, etc.), and I like the nutritional values. Lower sodium (60 mg / serving for an electrolyte product is the lowest I have seen). A 10 to 12 ounce serving is only 15 calories. There are only 3 grams of carbohydrates and there is a modest amount (2 mg) of fiber. I like that this is a non-GMO and soy free product. Also, while not specifically stated on the product label (and the listing states the origin is the United States, which doesn’t always mean it is made there), in visiting the company’s website, the page for this product states it is made in the United States and I like that. I blended a scoop of this powder with water and crushed ice to make something of an Italian ice. The flavor is pleasant with unsurprisingly a bit of a vegetal taste. While the flavor is listed as “Pina Colada” I don’t quite get that taste but there is somewhat of what I consider to be a tropical flavor. Overall, I like this quite a bit and expect to use it more with other flavors (e.g., adding cocoa powder and or some banana, etc.). At the time of this review the cost is about $0.57 per 10-12 ounce serving which is a real value compared to bottled comparative products. [4.5 stars rounded to 5 stars]

Disgusting taste

Generally, I am not a fan of electrolyte drinks and my family is. I was pleasantly surprised that this one did not have that distinct salty flavor to it. Definitely can taste the greens but has a lot of sweetness. Not quite piña colada but definitely fruity. Was very easy to mix with just a spoon in cool water; it dissolved instantly with no lumps or clumps. A nice way to get your electrolytes but also your greens!

Mornings are not fun for me; I'm definitely a night owl. However, a cold brew coffee and a "shot" of this supplement have really helped give me that kick start I need. I picked up an inviting apple scent when opening the jug. Reading the ingredients confirmed it contains apple powder - organic to boot! I first tried the powder in a smoothie with frozen bananas, blueberries, soy milk, & vegan protein powder. Amazing! Couldn't pick up any of the "grassy" ingredients. I don't make smoothies every day, however, so my regular way to drink this powder has been "straight" in a small juice glass with ice cold water. It's definitely more obvious there's spirulina and green tea in this powder, but it is absolutely drinkable and tastes like a delicious glass of green juice. Lots of good stuff in this powder, no added sugars, mixes effortlessly, and it's Made in the USA. Really can't go wrong and being a new year, what a great way to boost one's health!

Awful taste

Maybe the other flavors taste better, but the piña colada did not taste that good when mixed with just water. It also has to be thoroughly mixed, like in a protein shaker or blender, because stirred with just a spoon the mix tends to settle at the bottom. Otherwise, the ingredients seem high quality and could be an option for either a pre-workout or just as a dietary supplement. Also worth noting is that it contains a plastic scoop inside.

This stuff is good! It's a very fine (but not floating in the air fine) green powder. I mixed this in ice water in a magnetically stirred mixing mug. The kind with a small plastic pellet that spins at the bottom rather than blades. Despite the low mixing power there were immediately zero clumps. Unlike many other green super food powders I have had, this does not turn into a thick mess as it sits in the water. It feels almost like I used my cordless blender and made an actual fruit and greens shake. I am very impressed with this taste, quality, and the consistency of the drink it makes. Since it doesn't clump you could easily stir this into other foods too. It's lively and citrusy with a nice smooth green flavor. Reminds me of a shake made of mostly spinach with a touch of kale, but not bitter at all. I will be getting this again.
