You often feel that you are taking a bit of a gamble when you put non-branded ink cartridges into your printer. So I am pleased to be able to report back that these CATJOY 305XL Ink Cartridges Black Replacement for HP Printer Ink 305 worked totally fine in my HP305 printer. Happily, there was no ink leakage when I inserted the cartridge. I simply peeled off the backing strip, and popped it into the printer. The XL cartridge here - and there are two - says it will give 600 pages. I haven't done all of those before writing this review, but the ones that I have done have come out with crisp, clear ink. For most people there are two reasons to check out non-branded print cartridges: cost and the knowledge that you are doing your bit to help the planet. These recycled cartridges make that second step easier to carry on doing more by including a handy recycle back envelope in their pack. It has the bonus of supporting the Lord Taverner's charity, which helps children with challenges participate in sport. I will certainly be using this envelope when this cartridge runs out. As for price, when I chose this item it was less than a double pack of genuine cartridges, but not as much less as I expected. So, they felt a tad pricy. To summarise - this is a simple way to buy replacement cartridges that work well and come with a charity generating scheme you can pop your cartridges back into afterwards.

The CATJOY 305XL black ink cartridges work perfectly with my HP Envy 6020. Easy to install, great print quality, and they last a long time. Definitely a cost-effective alternative to the original HP cartridges. Will be buying again!

Check carefully. Did not work on my 4100e.

Warning my HP 2700 won't print from these cartridges as not original HP cartridges. Can't override the error message / blocking so unable to print anything. Brought 2 x XL Black cartridges and unable to print a single page. Total waste of money.
