How many contacts are there in the plug? Is it a three or four contacts one?

if you're asking: how many rings there are on the actual male 3.5mm plug there are two for stereo sound. would be three for something like a built in mic. I don't think I ever seen more than that.1 for mono 2 for stereo etc. this has 2. no built in mic or anything. anyway, I love these earphones. they put out real good sound for the price and they are sooo lightweight.
