The DAP products that I have used have always been good quality. This wood filler is no exception. It is easy to use and worked great for my project.

The first time I handled the tube, the filler shot out of the bottom before I could snip off the tip - I was barely squeezing it, so either the tube was a dud or it opened up under the heat (it was delivered on a 90+ degree day). I was able to salvage what came out and I stapled the bottom to close the opening, so not a big deal. I purposely bought the tube version because I could never use up all the filler in the can before it dried out, so if I do it again, I'll pre-emptively staple the bottom. Other purchasers may want to consider doing this.

Dap plastic glue is the classic wood glue, easy to work with dries fast and is good for sanding and painting over.
