It might not be as efficient on old hard stains, but usually my workout clothes are dark and don't get very dirty. I have some old white running socks which I used for a mud run and are `grey` since then; this detergent didn't make them sparkling white again but it keep new stains out of the way. I didn't find this on EWG to validate it's environmentally friendly truly (and the brand is not transparent with the ingredients)... but let's say I like they claim the product is designed with environment considerations. I’m a paramedic and my clothes and boots (especially in the summer) get very funky. I started with the spray and used it on my gear and boots. It worked amazingly. When I noticed they made laundry detergent I jumped. It seemed like regular gain or tide wasn’t cutting it and I wound up using much more detergent then the bottle called for. My first time using HEX I let the clothes soak for 15 minutes then had them run a heavy duty cycle I could instantly notice and difference and my partner even commented on it. Now I recommend HEX spray and laundry to my coworkers.
