Very easy to use. HOWEVER, LISTEN, THIS IS VIP! - - - - **Watch the video in the Amazon ad** - **WATCH IT TWICE** - it is well done and explains everything in layman's terms. It takes a minute to "get" all the controls. You will want to be clear on this when you wish to use it "IN A HURRY". It writes good as well. I first used it on my GF in her office while she was on a smoke break. While she was outside, I set it on "Motion Detection Mode" and placed it in her pen holder. It worked excellently and even saved audible conversations. I did not do it to "catch her doing something" .... I did it to test it for its stealth ability and ability to be overlooked or unnoticed. It was successful. MUCH BETTER QUALITY VIDEO **AND** AUDIO THAN I EXPECTED OR HOPED FOR. This is a keeper .... As an added example, I used it when I went up pick up my pizza at Donny Hoes and I was able to capture a PERFECT experience - one which I gave feedback to them. Everyone, VIP - you need to practice, practice, practice with this to get "GOOD" at using it. While on the way *TO* Donny Hoes, it captured car tags in front of me FLAWLESSLY and LEGIBLY. It has excellent video quality. I recommend a 128g chip. This pen records in 10 minute increments. BUT it records fully until battery goes out. FYI the battery may run out faster than you think but I think that is due to the QUALITY of the audio and video. To keep from getting confused, I made 3 "cheat sheet" instructions cards as you see in this pic. I keep one at home, one in my car, and one in my wallet. It takes a bit to get all the controls down pat .... BUT ALL OF THAT IS WORTH IT!! Satisfaction Guaranteed

I must admit I was skeptical at 1st but I'm sure glad I gave it a shot. Let me be clear, this hidden camera records BOTH video and audio. The quality is acceptable - Remember, these devices are built for a purpose and it absolutely does that. The video and audio are both clear and functions well Learning how to use it is a little quirky but at the end of the day easy once you get used to it. It's very discreet and functions as a pen also. It's a great hidden camera to capture the audio and video you need for your specific reason. Good Luck!

I have purchased products from SirGawain before. The video quality of those products was very good but they were also considerably bigger devices. I was unaware that the heavier compression on video with smaller devices,like this one, leaves them a bit away from true1080p. Pixelation and blocky bleed in darker tones definitely is possible. All other functionality is up to par with SIRGAWAINs past brilliant standards.🙌🙌🙌 I understand the difference between the products and working with smaller tech especially in a pen sized cam. For that, I believe SIRGAWAIN is still putting out amazing products. Hence ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ is still earned by SIRGAWAIN. Just, As a customer, you should be aware of the limitations you may face with a device this small in any brand name. Can you get 1080p quality on this device? Certainly but With limitiation. Does the device work? Yes, it does🤝🤝 Do I love it? For it's discrete use and easy to use programming, YES I DO😊🤝, It is still amazing quality for such a small device. Not sure why so many people like this. My biggest fear was the FOV. I wasn't going to ask for a far-view GoPro style field of view with the way the lens is designed, but at the bare-minimum for almost $50, I was at least hoping I'd get a zoom out as far as a baseline smartphone camera where I can see some of the ground, and the door not appearing gigantic standing 6 feet away like I have with this device. This pen is NOT made for action, for the aforementioned reasons and also the video quality is horrible for 1080p. I've seen very old 480p laptop webcams that beat this thing by over a dozen years. The audio supplied is mediocre at best, which is something I expected for this kind of design, but what baffles me is when you're walking, it makes a shaking/clicking sound during video playback. If I'm walking along and I'm trying to talk over my video, it would NOT pick up my voice. It's a shame because the actual pen itself looks very beautiful and nice to hold to the hand. Don't waste your money on this, unless you keep it in a pen holder focused on a door that's at LEAST 10 feet away. Promptly repackaged and returned it after abou 10-15 minutes of use.

High recording quality with ease of use.

I had mixed feelings about this Camera Pen. On the positive side, the pen design is compact and discreet. However, the main downside is the video and audio quality. Despite being advertised as Full HD, the footage often looks grainy, and the audio can sound muffled or unclear. The battery life is also quite short — the claimed 70 minutes goes by quickly and isn’t ideal for longer use. Another issue is stability. The recordings tend to come out shaky, especially when you’re moving, which makes the footage less usable. Overall, it might work for very basic needs, but the quality and battery limitations make it hard to fully recommend.

Best but not too much

It is wonderful.

I just got the order today. I love the fact that it records both sound and video well. However, I have a little challenge with the charging. The charging point is not stable.

All spy cameras, including this camera, come with AVI format, which is taking huge file size, for only 10 minutes vedio recording this AVI file format is consuming 2 GB to 3 GB file size, So for recording entire day it will take hundreds of GBs, So, after recording for 45 minutes, the futage is erased and new ecording is saved in this format. So. at any time only 45 minutes recording is available, which is recorded before you swith off the camera. Not useful for getting entire day futage. If we have MPEG4 (MP 4) format lesser file size is needed and recording can be in MBs, But just now no hidden or spy camera is not available in MPEG 4 (MP4) format. Motion Detection is not working, No motion detction at all in this camera. If you want lesser than 45 minutes futage, this camera is OK
