I only recently just started getting tattoos and this is a great product to have for afterwards. Makes your tattoos feel super fresh and clean with the soothing gel and moisturizers.

I'm exactly 1 week from my tattoo being done. The artist applied a saniderm bandage and told me to leave it on for 2 to 3 days. On day 2 I was feeling a Prickly itch like I get from some adhesives so I removed the bandage in the shower. Since I have been cleaning the area w this wash and applying the soothing gel 3 times a day. On day 7 I'm seeing a very small amount of peeling skin but my tattoo is almost complete healed. I recommend highly.

This is the BEST aftercare product for use on brand new tattoos. It is soothing, absorbs well, and a little goes a long way. How I use it:1) Put in the fridge so it is nice and cool for application (I have a make up fridge that I use)2) Squeeze about half as much as you think you need on clean hands3) Dab lightly all over your fresh tattoo, starting on the edges and working inward4) After you have dabbed all over the tattoo, lightly massage it in5) Take a paper towel and lightly blot away any extraI do the above a couple of times a day for the first week, cleaning with Mad Rabbit Foam during each shower (at least once daily). After peeling is over, I switch to a lotion product (still perfume and dye free) for the next several weeks. Afterward, I use sunscreen daily (same sunscreen I apply elsewhere).Overall, I love this product. No sent, appropriately moisturizing, thick enough to sooth and protect the new tattoo, and does absorb well (don't use too much)! I would love a larger bottle, but do like how easy this squeeze bottle works.Tip: This works well any time you get too much sun as well. My husband ended up with a bit of a sunburn and we were able to heal him pretty fast with this. He said it was soothing/cooling.

---update!!---The one problem I had with this stuff is solved! The one way valve makes it hard to control how much comes out.... Just unscrew the cap and it works perfectly!----____This is the stuff to put on your tattoo as it is healing. This stuff works differently than just lotion. It is cooling which is nice for itching and it moisturizes well. It creates a film over the tattoo that keeps it moisturized longer. If you are wearing loose clothes or if the tattoo is in an open area its perfect stuff..... If it is in an area that has tighter clothes or if your clothes have any lint it is a bit of a sticky mess. I had it on my thigh while I was sleeping and woke up with linty sticky mess that I had to wash off my leg. It was like a patch of felt on my leg. It was kind of funny, but I wont use it there again. Also my clothes would stick to it there. It was perfect on my ankle and my wrist. Also the container is...difficult. it has a one way valve in it which is kinda good as it keeps air from getting in and it keeps longer. However if you have a small tattoo, get ready to Always have too much. You have to put enough force on the tube that you cant just get a tiny little dot of the stuff you have to put enough force to make the valve disengage and you have a quarter sized splotch every time. So I really like this stuff....when it works..... And now it will because I can just unscrew the cap and get exactly what I need!

Great great gel , I love it , help me to heal and my look beautiful … I recommend this %100 when it came I put in a room temperature , if you open as soon came to your door. Remember coming from outside. Wait at least 5 hrs or more then you put on and the gel is perfectly fine … love it

I really like this product and have used it to heal up my last two tattoos. I find that the bottle lasts about one full healing cycle for large tattoos. It is a bit sticky, but if feels soothing going on and has good coverage. Love that it’s clear and soaks in well. I greatly dislike the bottle it comes in — it’s hard to control the amount of product that comes out. Even so, I much prefer this to traditional lotions for healing.

LOVE this for aftercare on a fresh tattoo. A little goes a long way, gives relief fast and heals beautifully when used as directed. I only use it for the initial healing period for a couple weeks, then switch to Hustle Butter for prolonged maintenance; after the itchy healing process is over I don’t find using the Repair gel as necessary, given it’s main purpose is itch relief.TIP: I’ve noticed that if I twist the cap off rather than use the squeeze cap as intended, I get greater control of how much comes out.

I just got inked up for the first time (I’m 31 year old male). My tattooo artist recommended taking the patch off the next morning and cleaning it with dial soap, damping blood off fresh ink and let it air dry, then apply lotion after a week. Which is what I did, my gangar tattoo(first time tattoo) got bloody and would have to apply a paper towel to soak up the blood after the first couple of days, I also got a mild itch but did not scratch it, let it air dry and noticed my tattoo would crust up and shed. 2 weeks in I saw an ad on IG and thought I give it a try for my next appointment (2 week after my first tattoo). I decided to go all out and get big pieces on my next appointment, I used it for the first time on these new ones( haunter and they live picture) Immediately after suing it, I noticed a HUGE difference, I didn’t not bleed out my leg like my first time, and mind you these are way bigger and a lot more detailed than my gangar one, I cleaned it with dial soap and applied the product right after damping my skin with a paper towel and noticed that my tattoo area was not itchy at all or oozed out any blood, kept it nice and moisturized without adding lotion, this is a gel. I don’t how how it works tbh but it’s like how it traps all the moisture into your tattoo, without letting any blood or dead skin out, it’s crazy but definitely works. Again, this is my first time stepping into this realm and 100% recommend trying this product out to prevent any itchy or dry skin from occurring. Your spending so much on art on your body, might as well spend a couple bucks to ease the process. Highly recommend for anyone getting a tattoo, I am going to get several more and will definitely be buying more of these. I’m excited to use more of thier products, but for now I will stick will dial soap and this for the next day recovery, instructions say 14 days but I think after 10 days or even a week it should be good. Currently 3 days in and could tell a huge difference in recovery process.

I thought I’d read the reviews prior to buying and as I saw sooo many great reviews I thought I’d buy it, ( big mistake)Comes out as a water liquid, no solid gel formula like the product has expired. Doesn’t stop itching and doesn’t soothe the skin like they say. Just drys out my new full sleeve tattoo. So unhappy I spent $60 for this.

Works perfectly, just be careful to apply a small amount of gel and gently distribute it on your tattoo
