Birmingham tells the story of entrepreneurs competing in Birmingham during the industrial revolution between 1770-1870. As with previous models, you need to develop, build and establish industries and networks to take advantage of low or high market demands. In each round, players take turns according to the turnorder track and receive two actions (found in the original game). 1) Build - Pay the resources you need and place the industry tile. 2) Network - Add rails/canal links to expand the network 3) Development - Increase industry VP value 4) SELLING - Selling cotton, crafts, ceramics. 5) Lone - Reduce your income with £30 loans. Brass:Birmingham is the new sixth action feature: 6) SCUT - Discard 3 cards and take 1 wild place and 1 wild industrial card. (This action replaces the original brass Double Action Build. ) Game plays over two halfs: the Canal Age (1770-1830) and the Railway Age (1830-1870).
