Jocko GO Energy Drink (Afterburner Orange) Review
This is hands-down the best energy drink I've tried for sustained, consistent energy. The core appeal is the total lack of a spike and absolutely no hard crashโit's just a constant, reliable lift that lasts. It delivers more energy than most standard cans despite having lower caffeine, making it genuinely guilt-free on both the caffeine and carb fronts (it's sugar-free and Keto-friendly). The blend of L-Theanine, B vitamins, and Electrolytes clearly works to provide focused energy. The only minor downside is a slight vitamin flavor aftertaste. It's noticeable but not bothersome, and a very small trade-off for such a clean and effective boost. Highly recommended for clean focus.

Great Energy Drink
Great flavors. It gives you energy without the jitters and without sugar

I love it the ingredients, and not having niacin or sucralose!
Great ingredients, great taste. I've tried several flavors, and this is still my favorite. Tastes a little flat, but that is a good thing--less carbonation, and no sucralose. No crash, no caffeine jitters, and does not raise my blood sugar.

BEWARE - NOT AS ADVERTISED (UPDATED 5/21/2026)
The orange taste is meh...and that's about where the positives end. Jocko does it again, the wrong way. I started buying their protein powder because it was the first one that did not use the artificial sweeteners sucralose and asculfame potassium that 95% of the others use, nor did it use Stevia which has a harsh aftertaste and also messes up your gut's biome. The used allulose and monk fruit. And most of their flavors tasted good! It was so easy to mix too...then they changed their formula. Now it's hard to mix even with a shaker bottle and is gritty and lumpy. Maybe a blender would change that but that's more cleanup. I found a new brand that uses monk fruit and is very easy to mix Jocko did it again with this energy drink. It's not at all as advertised here. They changed it much more drastically than they did with the protein powder change. The label on this site shows this drink contains: Vitamin B6: .5 mg Vitamin B12: 100 mg Choline bitarate: 100mg Acetyl L-Carnitine: 500 mg L-Theanine: 95 mg Bacopa Monnieri: 50 mg Alpha GPC: 100 mg Theobromine: 100 mg Magnesium citrate: 50 mg Potassium citrate: 50 mg Sodium: 100 mg Caffeine: 95 mg That's a pretty great list of natural ingredients with the Choline, Carnitine, Alpha GPC, Bacopa, Theanine, Theobromine, and natural caffeine (but not too much like other energy drinks). Compare that to what you actually get when the product arrives: Vitamin B6: .5 mg Vitamin B12: 100 mg Caffeine: 95 mg Theanine: 50 mg Really? Honestly, I bought these energy drinks because of the impressive ingredients list, and it was the only energy drink that scored positively on the Yuka app at 63. They took all the good stuff out! Speaking of the Yuka app, I learned this contains a risky additive: steviol glycosides. Steviol disturbs gut microbiota, impairs sugar regulation, and is involved with overweight conditions. For what you actually get with this, you're better off drinking black tea or a cup of Americano and popping a multi-vitamin. It's cheaper. I will not be buying anything else made by Jocko again. It's just not a reliable brand. EDIT 5/12/2026 JOCKO offered a refund and made the following response to my review: May 12, 2026 6:10 AM "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase. If you would like a full refund: please reply 'Full refund'. We hope that you give us another chance. Thank you very much. Best regards, Jocko Fuel" I did not ask for the refund but offered a reply: May 12, 2026 9:15 AM MY REPLY: "As it stands currently, you are LYING about your product on Amazon. Once trust is broken, it's very hard to earn it back. If you ever want another chance, you should start by either going back to the original formula, or changing your ad on Amazon to show the actual ingredients list. Otherwise, it is false and deceptive advertising and the potential customer should know about it." They were still showing the previous ingredients list at the time of this writing EDIT 5/14/2026: JOCKO WROTE: "Thank you for getting back to us! We're truly sorry for the confusion caused here. As the new formula shipped prior to the updated listing, we're happy to request a refund for the cost of the Orange Go RTD 12-pack. Once approved, you should have the funds available in your account within 3-5 business days." "Please be assured that you may view the full ingredient list for any Jocko Fuel item under the facts panel on the back of every product. Our Go 2.0 isnโt about adding more, itโs about doing it better. We simplified the formula, tightened the focus, and improved the experience, all while keeping the same controlled caffeine dose." "To take this product to the next level, we have included additional ingredients that allow noticeable results within just 20-30 minutes! Please be assured that we made sure to strictly use ingredients that also stay true to our clean ingredients only as this is always a priority here at Jocko Fuel. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!" The problem with the above statement is that the ingredients list on the website didn't match what was on the back of the can. They weren't showing "GO 2.0" on their listing, they were showing GO 1.0, and no statement of changing formulas. They can argue their current ingredients are "better" but I disagree. They removed the ingredients I wanted, that made this drink unique and better than the others. I wasn't buying it for caffeine only. I am not changing my review because they should be called out on this. I found another review that called them out on the ingredients list being different from the listing, but they didn't make the change to the Amazon listing. I'm also not accepting their refund offer. It wasn't as advertised, but I used the product by drinking some of them. Therefore, I'm obligated to pay for it. I'm just glad responding to Jocko led to their changing the listing on Amazon so others will know exactly what they are buying and not be deceived. EDIT 5/21/2026: Even though I rejected their refund offer, they still sent it anyway. So, I decided to try the Black Cherry Cola flavor to give them their money back, indirectly. I will update the flavor rating after it gets here but it still doesn't affect my original review.

Wtf.
Overall this is a great product. But. What is this. There's a weird crease on it and I just thought maybe it was the wrapper on it. Then with some investigating I cut the wrapper off. What the heck is that crap. Your gonna advertise orange but give me a completely other flavor. That's unacceptable. If I opened the wrapper and it was a blank I'd understand but it's like imprinted on the can. And if it was just a random color I'd be concerned on what I am truly drinking. Because someone could easily put random ass things in it and advertise it as the drink. Why is there a a wrapper on it in the first place. Can someone please give me a reason.
