Exactly what we wanted
We bought this for our 2 year old grandson's birthday. It is just the right size - not too large but not tiny either. I would not recommend this for older kids -- the actual sand play area is about 3' x 3', with a wooden border w/ benches around it. fits nicely in the corner of my daughters patio. we put 3 50lb bags of sandbox dirt in it and that seems to be just enough. My husband and son in law were able to put this sandbox together in about 20 minutes. Grandson loves it!

EXCELLENT BUY!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SANDBOX! It was not hard to put together. I watched my husband do it within 45min (I did hold boards when he nailed sometimes:) My grandchildren LOVE it and tries to get in every chance they get. AND THE FACT THAT IT COMES WITH A COVER!!! It really keep the rain out! Great buy!

Generally, Great Sandbox
The sandbox is very sturdy. It was a bit challenging to assemble mainly because some parts had marking where screw went and others did not so you had to make sure things aligned before making a hole/screwing in a screw. Pretty easy to move as well. I do wish the liner was connected to the wood but sand seems to be staying in. 2 trays will blow away on extremely windy days but easily stored in sand when not in use. 200 pounds of sand seemed just right. Kids can sit, are shaded, and can climb all over without issue so very sturdy. My biggest complaint is the cover. Typical tarp fabric so should be strong but for some reason mine ripped almost immediately including one button totally tore out and it’s only been setup a week. I would recommend the sandbox because it’s very well made but a little more thought to marking all the screw spots and maybe a bigger cover would help. Having to center the cover buttons on your own to ensure it’s centered when screwing them in was probably the hardest part. Hope this review is helpful!

You get what you pay for
Not the best purchase I have bought. One side came cracked. The benches are already loose and I just built it 2 days ago. The screws are cracking the wood which is making it loose. And the snaps don’t work for the cover if sand gets in it. My 2 year old and 9 year old love playing in it but I know it won’t last long.
