I Google the product and it was better than most out there..and the price was much better than other brands out there..I've have taking it for about a year..I will continue to use this product..they say to take with some form of good fat to help it absorb better into your body..I have been doing that..I'm happy with the product..

the container reads: natural astaxanthin 12 mg from haematococcus pluvialis microalgae.  The container also bears made in the USA, non-gmo, and gluten free claims.   There is nothing to state the point for origin.
