Can someone from Aroma or Amazon confirm this is stainless steel? Would be a bummer if I can't use salt to season my rice in the rice cooker. **Q: Could you tell me if the lid is plastic or glass? Thanks so much.** A: The lid is glass with a stainless steel rim, a plastic handle on top, and a steam venting hole that is about 5/16 inch diameter (this is not a rice cooker with an all-plastic hinged lid). My old rice cooker lid has a smaller steam venting hole that's about 3/16 inch diameter. **Q: Could any of you tell me what the minimum amount of rice required for a cycle? Sometimes I'm just cooking for myself, and I want a smaller amount.** A: I too have prepared 1/2 cup of rice without any problems. Just remember to let it sit, unplugged, for a while after cooking otherwise a lot of rice will stick to the bottom. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 110 volts !! *by J***I on 2025年4月12日にベルギーでレビュー済み* Appareil en 110 volts, donc inutilisable en Europe ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Quality but not Quantity *by K***N on 2016年10月10日にインドでレビュー済み* Quality is surely pretty good but quantity of cooked rice is limited barely for two persons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice rice pot, stainless steel, still in use after 11 years... *by M***H on 2026年9月6日にカナダでレビュー済み* I bought this Sept 2015, and I'm reviewing this 11 years later... It's lasted that long, average 3-4 days per week of usage It's a good size for a small family. The best part is the stainless steel - easy to clean, no flaking or chemical leech off The key to non sticking rice is to let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes after cooking (don't worry rice will still be hot) - the bottom rice scoops up cleanly , no waste I'd say "I'd buy it again", but really I don't have to - it's still going strong ## Frequently Bought Together - AROMA® Select Stainless® Rice Cooker, 3-Cup (Uncooked) / 6-Cup (Cooked), Stainless Steel Inner Pot, Small Rice Cooker, Auto Keep Warm, 1.2 Qt, White, ARC-753SG - Wildone Baking Sheet Set of 3, Stainless Steel Cookie Sheet Baking Sheet Pan, 9/12/16 Inch, Non Toxic & Heavy Duty & Easy Clean --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/725548553-aroma-simply-stainless-3-cup-uncooked-6-cup-cooked-rice](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/725548553-aroma-simply-stainless-3-cup-uncooked-6-cup-cooked-rice) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
