Couldn't be happier
Got this for my 9 year old daughter who has been playing soccer for 5 years now. She loves that she can kick around when I'm busy, and we've used it together taking turns and even passing off of it at angles. Pros: * Put it together by myself in about 25 minutes, and only needed a little help stretching the net on. Directions were easy to follow and it is well designed and easy to assemble. One note on assembly - you'll only get 4 bolts with wingnuts and washers, but you'll swear you need 6 screws. That's because the front base screws are already screwed in so you'll just need to unscrew them, line up the pieces, and screw them back in. I panicked for a moment until I looked at the ends of the base pipes. Another assembly note - don't just start putting it together in part-number order. The parts are numbered, but follow the direction. Really, it's easier that way. * Durable parts - nothing feels flimsy at all, especially the net once it's stretched on. You might scratch the white enamel on the pipes if you drag it across a driveway, but other than that, it doesn't feel like it'll bend or warp at all. * Great rebound - the ball really pops off the net. You do need to get the ball up off the ground for it to rebound properly, but that wasn't a problem for my 9-yr old daughter. The rebound snaps off the net, requiring the kicker to really be prepared and on the balls of her feet to get the rebound. No kicking and standing and watching with this! Oh, and you don't have to hit the sweetspot to get a good rebound, it just needs to be off the ground. My daughter loves aiming for the center though. *Light weight - it's easy enough for my daughter to carry/drag in and out of the garage by herself (just make sure your car is out of the way). Not Really Cons - Not sure these are really cons, but things to consider * There's really no undoing of this goal once it's together. I don't plan on taking this to practice, but if I wanted to take it to the park, it would take some effort. It *MIGHT* fit into the back of my crossover, I haven't tried yet. * You'll want to use the U-hooks to hold the goal in place. This isn't an issue, but I've read some reviews that said it fell over easy with good strikes. It will, so just use the hooks. Using the hooks, I haven't had any trouble with the goal tipping over. And you'll definitely need them if you angle it beyond the 90 degrees, but again, this isn't an issue, just push/pound them in. OVERALL - I asked my daughter to add to my review, here's what she said: "I LOVE my new goal. I love that I can play by myself in the yard, and I love that I can get it out of the garage myself (though I prefer my dad to set it up for me). It's great that the ball comes back to me and I don't have to chase it unless I miss the rebound. It really keeps me on my toes!" So there you have it, straight from the kid's mouth. I couldn't be happier with its durability, the size and quality, and I love that it's got my kid out practicing without me.

Durable, Sturdy and Fun
Great net, excellent value, lots of fun! Durability: It's been 2 1/2 years since we purchased this model and it's withstood the abuse of two athletic boys who use primarily for soccer and baseball and a mom who leaves it outside year round (often in the sprinklers) We drag it poolside where it's subjected to splashing from a salt water chlorinated pool where we use it to keep missed volleyball and basketball shots in the pool area. The net is starting to decay a bit and some of the bands that attach the net to the frame need to be replaced but I'm sure salt and chlorine from our pool have accelerated that process. The frame is in great shape with a few rusty spots forming but it's still fully functionally. I'm going to order a replacement net and we'll probably be good for another 2 1/2 years! Use: It's best used for soccer but we also use it for baseball practice. We also use it behind our basketball hoop to rebound missed shots, poolside to keep balls from rolling too far away from the pool, for kickball and football. The kids have also used it as a hammock and a chair but not recommended ;-) Overall, great quality, an excellent value and amazingly durable.

Works great!
I bought this for my 10 year old that can't separate from a soccer ball. This net is great for him to practice straight on power shots. He enjoys the bounce back and doesn't have to dig a ball out of a traditional goalie net. The tilting options are so easy he makes adjustments in a snap. Tilt up and or down to practice fielding and receiving the ball. He assembled the majority of the frame/net by himself in less than an hour. I had to help: 1. Putting the final net ties on. As the net gets tighter you need an adult to help cinch up the ties. But that's what you want, is a tight, bouncy net. 2. I had to drill a hole in the frame to compensate for a missing hole from the manufacturer. No big deal, but it prevented my son from getting the last assembly nut/bolt into the frame. A slight oversight from the manufacturer, but it was a 1 min fix. Not worth the repackaging and sending back hassle... It's also light enough for him to move around the yard. I'm thrilled and so is he.

owned it for a year now ...
We have used this goal every weekend for almost a year at the local park. The other goal was a kiddie 3' x 2' goal with 2 ski poles set into the ground (just so you know there are affordable 6' goal alternatives). This is a GREAT goal for shooting practice, you get a solid rebound when you hit the goal, and it's banked so it rebounds MUCH BETTER than a 90-degree vertical goal. You can turn it around and use it like a regular goal, too! It's very sturdy with 1.5" steel tubes, however, one of the spring-loaded pins broke off with a sharp point showing (not a problem as I haven't taken the goal apart). After 1 year there is hardly any rust (it's been a rainy year here in southern CA with 30 days of rain). It just BARELY fits into my SUV if I collapse the back (i.e. so the rebound almost faces up) so it's almost flat (no space for rear passengers). That makes it pretty easy to transport 4 blocks to the park, and saves me time. The only way to improve it would be to make it foldable. There are 2 quick-release plastic collars (visible in photo) on the back to set the rebound angle <<<=== VERY QUICK AND USEFUL. It comes with 2 U-shaped aluminum pins to anchor it in the dirt, but it's hefty enough that it takes a real wallop (something a 12 or 14 year old could do point-blank) to move the goal. The heavy-duty black bungee cords work well. I did a lot of research, bought the right goal, and I couldn't be happier. Now I'm looking for a 12' goal to give my kids a greater challenge.

Great for little kids but don't expect service from this seller
I have purchased two of these. The first one when my son was 11 lasted about 1 year. For the price, we got a lot of hours of fun and it was a good product. The second one lasted about 2 months. The week link is in the bottom front pole. Even the net tension makes it warp and after some strong kicks from a 12 year old, it bends up about a foot and makes the goal unusable. There are three real problems. It comes with only a 90 day warranty, the only available repair part is the net, and there is zero customer service. I emailed customer service to see if I could get a replacement bottom front rail and they simply never answered me. This is an affordable rebounder for young children but stay away if anyone can kick a little bit hard or you are expecting a friendly and responsive customer service. UPDATE: I found a solution for the lower front pole. I took two pieces of concrete rebar that was scrap from a construction site, removed the pole, inserted the rebar inside the pole, and reattached. That pole will never bend again! :)

Great practice tool
This product came out of the box in pieces, but within 30 minutes I had it assembled. Instructions are quite basic, but I can figure things out fairly easy without detailed instructions. Once assembled, the rebounder is especially springy. When struck by the ball in the "sweet spot" it rebounds with great force. The product is of good quality materials and should last for several years. My only complaint is that the included pegs to keep the rebounder in one place don't seem to be enough to keep it down when the ball strikes the metal frame. The soil I have it pegged down to is not loose, but your typical grassy lawn. I'm planning to devise a way to make it more permanent on the ground. As it is now I am having to constantly hammer the pegs back into the ground and change their positions from time to time to keep it snugly on the ground. Product quality is great, and with some extra effort on my part it will be hassle free.

Just what i wanted
I bought this for my niece's birthday. She loves it. She is 5 and her brother is 3 and it is the perfect size for them to practice shooting and 'goalie' with. It is also a great size for all the adults to practice on without running around all the time retrieveing the ball so i am sure this net will have use well until it wears out. We havnt had too many durability problems. Sometimes the net holders will pop off if you hit it with a good shot but it isnt too much of a problem as there are 20 others. And it is easy to put back on. I saw some reviews saying it was hard to assemble the net but i did it myself with no problems. Its hard to stretch in some places but not too bad. Overall for its price i thought it was a great buy.

Nice product
Bought for my son to practice his soccer kicks. It's very solid and well made. Rebounds the ball nicely. You'll have to weight it down though if you're pounding kicks at it. That's not really a design flaw though, it's just the nature of the unit. Would recommend.

Great Skill Developer
Easy to set up. Took about 30 mins. My 10 year old easy chips the ball into the rebounder and controls as it's supposed to be used. NOT FOR RIPPING OFF SHOTS. It's great for developing soft touches. Small issue with a small plastic part. I emailed Franklin and they replaced without question. I'm a former D1 player and current Tier 1 youth coach. Highly recommend for skill development if used correctly.

Everything is good except the net is broken. Plz see the picture attached. That will be fine for me if you can ship a new net to me. Thanks

Awesome!
Awesome Net! Me and my 7 year old put it together ourselves. Works awesome, but had it outside and our saint bernard pup wrecked the net... So sad. Have to try to repair or replace as he hasn't been able to use it since the snow melted.
