I really like this weighted vest. I live in London and don't drive so I walk a lot. I wear the vest at the weekend when I am going to the shops or walking in the park. It just adds a little bit more exercise to the walking, which is great. I did not go for a very heavy vest as I thought that would put me off walking. So I went for an 8 pound vest and it is perfect.

I decided to start my regular walks with a weighted vest. Did some research and chose this one bevause its not super heavy and it distributes the weight in a very comfortable manner. Its excellent. Walked the dogs and did 5km in it today.

I am 5’2” and the vest is not a great fit. The buckle sits under boobs and not across chest. If you are a petite woman this is not the right purchase.

I’ve been using the Henkelion weighted vest for workouts, walks, and just general activity around the house and I’m really pleased with how it performs. First thing I noticed was that the weight feels balanced front and back so it doesn’t shift or pull weirdly while I move. It’s made of soft neoprene which helps a lot with comfort especially during longer sessions. The vest comes filled with iron pellets and metal rocks rather than sand which gives it a more solid feel and helps with stability. The adjustable strap keeps it from riding up and prevents slipping which made a big difference when I jogged or did more dynamic movements. There’s a mesh pocket on the back which is handy for storing small essentials or adding a bit more weight if I want to challenge myself more. It isn’t perfect though. For one the shoulder area could use more padding since the weight can dig in if you wear it for extended periods. Also the maximum weight is lower than some more advanced vests so once you get stronger you might want to move up. Some folks mentioned there’s an initial smell out of the box so airing it out helps. Overall this vest hits great balance between comfort, weight, and price. It works well for beginners or people wanting to add a little resistance without going super heavy. If you want something reliable for walking, light cardio, or bodyweight workouts I think this one delivers.

There's a good reason why weighted vests are so popular: they are an easy way to increase the effectiveness of walking. Very important to start with a smaller weight for a limited time and work your way up, IF needed. I use 8 lbs for my weight of 125 which is sufficient with a max weight being 10% or 12 lbs which I have, but it's too heavy for beginners. This brand is perfectly fine; the feel is very much like carrying a heavy backpack.
