Review: Great device only wish it included the POE++ injector - Needed a switch for my patio that could handle being exposed to the elements and didn’t need an electric socket near by. This fits the bill perfectly and since I’m already heavily invested in the Omada ecosystem, it fits in perfectly. My only wish is that they would just bump the price up a bit and chuck a POE++ injector in the box. I had to buy one separately since my switch doesn’t support POE++ and all my spare injectors are POE+. Anywho, this thing appears to work perfectly. It was painless for my Omada controller to adopt it and update the firmware. This is a very nice little switch. For my uses this will power two POE cameras, a POE access point and will provide a wired data connection to an outdoor smart TV. Just purchased a second of these to replace an older switch that live in a tree out by our fire pit. Installation was just as easy as the first one I purchased. This one will power three security cameras. After getting it mounted and the POE injector (purchased separately) installed I was able to adopt it in my Omada system and update the firmware. It’s running smooth.

This is a good little switch for the price
A solid performing switch and it can be managed remotely through Omada. I have this mounted in the rafters of my garage using the included bracket. It powers and AP and a couple of hardwired devices. The included POE injector is a little anemic but it works for my use case. It works as advertised and I’m happy with it.

Great product and weather proof.
I have had this installed on the side of my house with zero protection and its been rock solid even in the strongest storms. Its also facing the sun most of the days and given my home is solid brick this device bakes all day in high heat and i have yet to have a problem after a month of having this installed. You got two ways of mounting this out of the box, either pole mounted or wall mounted and its super easy to wall mount as they give you a peel and stick template taking the guess work out of where to drill your holes to get this mounted perfectly. Connectivity has been just fine feeding my outdoor AP's and a second one of these feeding my other AP's on the front of my property. You do have to be mindful of they PoE budget as this gets its power from a PoE line being ran to it then shares it with the devices connected so if you got a bunch of power hungry PoE devices you may hit its max wattage so you need to make sure you won't push it beyond what it can support. For what I needed this functions perfectly and saved me from having to run a bunch of new lines to my outside to support my outdoor Omada AP's which saved me a bunch of time. Overall the two of these I bought have had no issues at all even full exposed to the elements.
