Break easily
Not waterproof and break easily but otherwise light to wear and stayed on my dogs feet quite okay. Not bad.

Woody doesn't like it! On with the cone-of-shame!
Poor Woody has a bad foot, so as he always rips the bandages off in seconds we thought we would try this - very easy to put on, fits great with plenty of room for the paw itself, easy to put on even though he doesn't like anyone messing with his feet.Unfortunately, Woody is a bad dog and as soon as your back is turned he tried to get it off - first time it was in seconds, second time we put the strap tighter and it took him a little longer, third time it was even tighter but he still managed it.So, on with his Cone of Shame and he couldn't get to it so it stayed exactly where it should and he just ended up walking around funny, lifting his leg too high and looking silly, but it stayed on and kept his foot clean. So, be prepared for your doggo to do everything he or she can to remove it, and without putting it on so tight that the paw turns blue you may have to put a cone on too, but it works well and I think it will last quite a long time.As for woody, his foot is better and he is glad he doesn't have to walk around like a bad dog with a cone and silly boot on.

Not suitable for medium size dogs
I liked the boots but they are already worn down. Only received on Tuesday. My dog has alligies so has to have them. Would be good if the sole was made a little stronger.Easy to get on but do not last

Cheaper than the vets and speeds up recovery of injuries.
We recently spent a large sum of money in veterinary charges as our Jack Russel Terrier got an infection/injury to its front paw. As a result of this he had to wear one of those silly looking ''lampshade'' implements on his head to stop him worrying at his paw; this was great, yet not very practical for walks and fun so we purchased a set of 4 booties for £5.55. Well believe me when I say it's a hell of a lot cheaper than going to the vets . They come in different sizes to fit all dogs and they are easy to put on; which is a big plus point. They have Velcro straps which can be adjusted for comfort and they are also waterproof, with non slip soles. Also they are breathable so the paws don't overheat or sweat, which can make healing more difficult. The booties are great for daily use and can be used for other reasons as well as protection against chewing and licking. In very hot weather they can be used to stop your dog getting burnt paws and the same goes for extreme cold and if salt has been put onto roads and pavements. All in all I think for the price these are a great buy. I really don't have any negative points to give which suits me. If your dog's paws need protection for the short term these are ideal and I would recommend them to anyone.

These stay on
Nowadays our Springer Spaniel wears one of these on one of his front feet every time he goes for a walk. The Thing with these is that they stay on - often dog boots don't stay on the dog. And if the boot stays on a Springer who runs around like a loon and goes swimming then that's a pretty good recommendation. They have an elastic cuff and an elasticated velcro strap which goes around the ankle, you need to do that up good and tight but he's fine wearing them and shows no signs of discomfort even if he's been out for hours. He's even climbed a Munro wearing one and they seem to grip surprisingly well, even on slippery surfaces. We find that one of these lasts perhaps a week before we need to replace it - say 15 hours on the dog. On him they wear along the edge just above the sole and eventually wear through and start to split. As we want to keep abrasive dirt away from his sore paw we chuck them out at that point although they are actually useable for longer. NB Neither the breathable or the waterproof ones are actually waterproof and if the dog is going swimming the breathable ones are best as the water can run out. The waterproof ones trap it and the dog ends up with a bag of water on the end of its leg. However the waterproof ones are fine for snow or slush. If the dog has a dressing you want to protect then you need to buy a size to suit the bulk of the dressing - at a pinch you can also cut the boot to enable it to open up more and we've found that the breathable sort don't rip. We've found that the combination of a good cohesive bandage and one of these boots over the top of a dressing will keep the dressing dry even if the dog goes swimming. Doesn't get any better than that.

Good quality perfect
We got dog and unfortunately it’s paw pads were very sore, we bought these and despite a battle with said dog we eventually got them on him and to was happier that he could walk vertually pain free. Would I recommend this product yes but you must be prepared for tantrums, biting , scratching and that was just the wife but nonetheless the dog succumbed to pressure and relaxed enough to proceed with operation soft walk.

I also have a GSD that has CDRM. For me they haven't been successful as the other reviewer found them.My girl drags one of her back paws quite badly due to the CDRM and this has resulted in the boots having scuff marks and holes in them after one walk - good job they come in a pack of 4!I have also had the same problem with the buckle on them. It seems to be more of a hindrance than an asset and the boots would probably benefit from not having it all.Point to note - make sure your dog is standing up when you put the boot on as this will help the Velcro be in the right place and stop the boot from falling down. This doesn't seem like a good review, but in fairness, if my girl didn't have CDRM then the boots would be really good.If your dog has a sore paw or something like that, these boots would work really well to protect it. They are nice and light so shouldn't annoy your dog too much. They do have anti slip on the bottom of the boot which helps with pesky slippery surfaces and being waterproof means you can take them out in the rain and they can go puddle jumping (if they are that way inclined)Overall, the product is good just not right for me.
