Which is best Ceylon cinnamon or Cassia cinnamon? Which will be more effective?

Depends on what you're using it for and what you mean by effective. The jury is still out on which lowers blood sugar next but a combination of both is the best course if you want that effect without toxicity. Cassia Cinnamon in excess is what is bad for you but not necessarily in moderation. For taste, Ceylon is great for cooking but not necessarily my choice for baking. If you eat it every day and in a large amount, you either want to go totally go for Ceylon or a combination with much more Ceylon and Cassia sprinkled in for the taste and added effect of the cumulative blood sugar lowering effects and perhaps lowering blood pressure a bit as well. Caution of course if you're on meds for any of those ( not a Dr. Here) Hope that helps.

Are “Simply Organic” spices non-irradiated?

If you read under the area features and details, the fourth bullet indicates it’s non irradiated and is also free of ETO (ethylene oxide, a sterilization chemical). That’s a new one for me. I never realized so much went on in the spice industry.

Is it okay to microwave?

not the jar, since it has a metal lid. that is dangerous. the cinnamon powder itself, you can microwave.

Amazing Ceylon Cinnamon

Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is the best! It is the authentic stuff! Nothing added to it and it smells and tastes so much better! I highly recommend it! The price is so great, as compared to the gell encapsulated stuff. Just a teaspoon a day will do wonders for you! Try it on buttered toast - a good way to ingest it! Do some research (or ask ChatGPT to research it for you - AI is awesome for research! Incredibly fast and includes sources!) The taste and color is so much better than the regular stuff from most of the big spice sellers like McCormick, and others.

Not what I expected

It doesn’t have the sharp cinnamon taste. It tastes almost like dust, and the smell has only a very slight hint of cinnamon. Unfortunately, it seems to be adulterated.
