I've tried countless other products to tame my thick and frizz-prone hair to no avail... and I've spent a bundle doing so. That's why I didn't have high hopes for this product but figured it was worth a shot. I'm SO glad I bought this instead of giving up! It says it can be used on damp or dry hair so I tried it after towel drying my hair. The first thing I noticed was that it didn't have an unpleasant smell like other products I've used. Also, the spray bottle was easy to use and allowed for accurate application. It came out more like a mist than a stream of liquid and that gave me better coverage without using too much of it. I blow dried my hair and immediately noticed a positive difference from when I used no product or other failed products. My hair wasn't completely straight but it was definitely less frizzy and I was very pleased. However, the BIG difference was when I then used my flat iron. My hair came out shiny and smooth as if I had just left the salon! I was so happy. What's more, even though it's been rainy and humid here, my hair stayed straight and frizz-free for three days - just like the bottle claims. Furthermore, there was no greasy or sticky residue buildup. The only thing I would suggest for those using this is to be careful about getting it on the floor. Even a slight mist on the ground made the bathroom tile really slippery. You might want to put a towel down before using this. I seriously LOVE this product and would highly recommend it to anyone who's searching for something to tame unruly hair. I'll be buying it again for sure!

Excellent to straighten hair out

I love this! I have a slight wave to my hair and my hair never looks straight no matter how I try. I used this with Revlon One Volumizer hairdryer. My hair isn't really thick or real thin, coarse in nature, shoulder length. With these 2 things my hair is dry ,straight and shiny within 5-7 minutes. I don't have to even use my straightening iron. My dryer gives it body and this stuff the shine and smoothness. I read someone's post about it making there floor slick so I just bent over the tub and sprayed it on after my hair had been in a towel while I do my makeup. It did make the shower a little slick so be careful but soap took it right off. I had bought another more expensive product before trying this. I won't need to use that anymore. Way to go L'oreal. I love this product. Smells good too. I do agree the nozzle is a little harder to get use to for me, but I will gladly switch it to another bottle if that becomes an issue. Try it I think you will like it.

The product itself is great and that is why I'm giving it a 5 star review. HOWEVER, the item shown is a Trigger Spray bottle, which is easier to use. What I received is a Pump Spray bottle. I specifically ordered from this seller because of the Trigger bottle. So if that's important to you, Don't order from this seller.
