問題なく使えています

3/7着荷。同年5/5に壊れました。 デスクトップPCのデータ用内蔵ディスクとして利用。キュッ、キュッと数十秒毎に音がして、やっと立ち上がったかと思ったらドライブが認識されていません。 PCの故障を疑って、USB接続のドライブケースで試しましたが、同様な音が鳴って、ケースの電源が入りませんでした。 まだ買って2ヶ月ですから保証が効くかと思いamazonの購入履歴からたどると、「この商品は保証対象外」の悲しい記載。 ディスクの箱には、「2年保証。1年目は購入店に連絡」とあり、さあ、どうしたものか。。。 データが失われたことは勿論ですが、意を決して購入した高価な製品がすぐ壊れてしまい、とても悲しいです。

このモデル（8TB品）は、1TBあたり2,500円くらいのコスパで、24TB品の1TBあたり1,800円くらいとの比較で悩むところですが、耐久性で24TB品より期待して（壊れても一度に失われるデータ量も8TB品の方が傷は浅い筈なので）購入。今回の主な用途は防犯カメラの動画記録保管なので、高負荷では無い為、直ぐに壊れる様な事はないと思いますが、耐久性については今後も継続確認。

保管HDD[の容量がなくなって来たので急遽購入、昨年に比べてお値段は倍以上 商品は問題なしだったが、梱包が簡易すぎる、国内正式販売品でメーカー箱入り 外装はペラペラの海外からの発送の様な袋、商品自身の保護なし、商品箱そのまま（エアーマットなし） 落としたらボコボコになる感じ 出荷元Amazonて書いてあったのに・・・今までAmazonで買った商品で最低の梱包でした

商品、梱包・配送に問題ありません プチプチの緩衝材に包まれていたので梱包材なし、紙袋に直入れでグラボを送ってくるAmazon配送の様な心配はせずに済みました

星を付けないとコメントできないので付けましたが 星ゼロです。 稼働3日で認識不能です。通電・ディスクの回転は しているようですが全く認識されません。 稼働3日までは読み取り書き込み可能でしたが、突然です。データ消失しました。 やめた方が良いと思います。

配送が早かったので助かりました。順調に動いています。

Love the way that this came packaged would take a tiny bomb to damage this the Amazon package was very sturdy as well as the packaging by Western digital. I have had this item for a year and it has been a true lifesaver for me. I use it with my UGREEN drive. I thought that the learning curve on using this would be pretty difficult for someone who doesn't identify as a techie person, but it was very easy to configure and use it has backed up so many of my professional photography, photographs, videos, and memories and I still have plenty of space left on the drive. Will be purchasing this once more when it is fuller. I feel like the quality is right on par for the price and even a little bit exceeds that. Keep an eye out for prime deals and sales, which will make it even more valuable for your arsenal of digital hoarding needs. It seems to run quite quickly, considering my files are up to 42 MB each and I tend to overshoot where it will be 500 to 700 pictures each session. On the multi session day I can upload anywhere from 1000 to 1500 photos in a matter of minutes.

Stopped working in 6 months on 24×7 heavy workload, use it only for light work

Ce matériel a été commandé le 29/04 à 12h00 et a été livré le 30/04 à 9h00. Le temps de dire ouf, il était arrivé ... du jamais vu. Chapeau bas Amazon. Ma livraison correspond exctement à ma commande. Je n'ai payé qu'un supplément de livraison standard. Bref, le matériel fonctionne à merveille bien que, moi qui ne suis pas un expert, j'ai rencontré quelques difficultés à me remémorer la procédure logicielle de l'installation. Très satisfait.

Update: after 1 year on 2025 Jan 25, I was transferring video files from another wd my passport to this 8TB till the transfer speed dropped to 0bytes/s. Tried to end task, waiting, cancel, stop, restart pc, etc, nothing works, pc cannot end the session. So I shut off the pc power, upon reboot, it gave 2 squeak sounds, and the partition disappear along will all the data on it. Even if the video file is corrupted (I can still copy it to local drive) it should not self delete the partition. I don't know if its a win 10 issue, or the long distance delivery affected the 8TB lifespan. It has no local warranty, but that's not important, the important thing is data was lost. I will buy sata HDD locally from now onwards. It is now showing this error msg, see 3rd screenshot. 2024- jan I was aprehensive about ordering HDD from overseas fearing it would get damaged during shipping/ transit, but it arrived in good condition. The HDD was packed in a box with plastic holders, so that the HDD won't get bumped around. The box itself was placed in a blue and white bubble plastic envelope, the box arrived with no damage. I also did a full disk check/scan using WD's disk check software, it took over 13 hrs to run, but the result says the disk has no errors/ no bad sector's. Awesome. I'm going to order more. Edit: Have confirmed with WD that the 2 yr warranty is valid only in the USA, not valid in Singapore, that's not good.
