I was after a cheap small microwave. This microwave saved me a fair bit of counter space from the previous one that was here. What I didn't expect is that it is my favorite microwave ever. Down sides - it's small (positive for me) it is lower watts so longer cook times, and the display is bright. Up sides - The beep can be disabled and the display toggled. The instruction manual was worth skimming for codes for options, other than that everything was intuitive. Using this microwave is awesome. No beeps at all once disabled. It just shuts off when done. The display can be toggled off by pressing the stop button. And when you press a number key by default it does that many minutes saving a button press. Of course the start button adds 30s making it easy to quickly get to a time. I wanted a cheap space saving one, but to my surprise found my favorite microwave.

Perfect microwave if you have limited real-estate on your kitchen counter. Simple to operate.

Works as expected. Easy to use menus. Looking forward to testing the new “Chef Defrost” feature. Slightly smaller than our last compact microwave, which is great in terms of counter space, but internal dimensions are tight for some tall mugs, especially if they are full with liquid (they may have to tip sideways to get through the door or you may have to press down a bit on the rotating tray, but can fit once inside, because there is more clearance on top in the center than at the front edge).

What a great little microwave! I was a bit worried it might be too small but it fits: a dinner plate, 3 mugs, a 1.5 qt casserole dish with lid, a 1 pound loaf dish, a pyrex pie plate and alike. It also accommodates the average tall takeout soup container. Think Wanton. DISCLAIMER: It holds all these items separately - not all at once! That would be nuts. This unit is much quieter than my huge over-the-range microwave. In retrospect, what an absolute waste of space and money the old one is - without being any more useful to me than this 'little' unit! The buttons are easy to press, the pre-sets are convenient, the lighting is both soft and bright. It's heavy enough to be stable. Light enough to move. I spent the extra 16 bucks for the 4 year plan, just in case. Now that I actually have the unit, it seems so well-made and designed, the plan is probably unnecessary. (My old microwave died like a supernova. On a holiday weekend. Not taking any chances right now.) All the glowing reviews for Toshiba microwaves are spot-on. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Its perfect for small kitchen I do everything with this small microwave that I used to do with my bigger one, and it works great.

Perfect small size. Not much power but works well. Features are perfect for warming food and coffee.

It is very small, good for RV or cabin. Low on power. Just need to learn to add more time to things.

It looks nice and works reliably so far (several months in now). Not a big fan of the child-protection door lock feature because we don’t have children here and it makes you WAIT until it’s done beeping before it lets you unlock and open the door! :-/ I try to press cancel and unlock it before time’s-up to avoid waiting through the beeps. It is slower at heating than the big high-wattage ones, but overall we are getting used to its personality quirks and we are very happy with it.
