Got Glamour Cuticle Nipper, 1/2 Jaw Double Spring, Stainless Steel, Made in USA

I was looking for really sharp cuticle nippers that don't cost a fortune. Almost every one that came up on my search had a bunch of reviews that were by people who had been given free products in order to provide reviews. Whether or not they were obliged to be positive, I still wasn't convinced. These nippers, however, are exactly as advertised, very sharp, and I'm extremely satisfied. And no, I was not given anything free, nor given a discount.

I used to be a loyal Tweezerman fan. Once they stopped manufacturing them Germany, the quality has been spotty. Some nippers were good-ish and some were just horrible but they were better than anything else I had tried. I recently googled "cuticle nipper review" and saw that Got Glamour had the best reviews and they were made in the USA. I thought I'd try them - and WOW! So glad I did!!! I love these nippers. I replace nippers when they get dull so I've been through a lot of Tweezerman nippers (Tweezerman no longer supports their sharpening program, although the last bit of packaging I had still says it does). Anyway...I'm buying some for my mom and my sister for holiday presents. I purchased the full jaw (usually I buy 1/2 jaw and I'm really liking the full jaw) with double spring.

What the heck?? This is not "professional grade" cuticle nippers. I have always bought expensive, high quality cuticle nippers on the theory that you get what you pay for. Well, that theory is true. These were a lot less expensive than what I'm used to paying, and I got what I paid for, a cheap, inferior quality nipper. How disappointing. I would return them if I hadn't already thrown away the packaging.

Anyone looking for high quality cuticle nippers should read this......I am obsessed with my nails to the verge of insanity. It’s just “my thing”. Over many years I have owned countless nail clippers and cuticle nippers. Most have been German brands from Solingen factories. Some have been from cheaper producers in Pakistan and other places. The Got Glamour product reviewed here is one of very few made in America. I’m happy to state that this cuticle nipper is superior to any I have owned.I just bought my second one. First one lasted almost five years with heavy use. To be fair, it might have gone even longer, but was dropped on a hard surface by my toddler which slightly bent the tip. My new nipper is super sharp and beautifully built, just like my previous one.Got Glamour provides a nice storage sheath with each set of nippers. I use it.This is a serious instrument which should be handled with care. I am the former director of architectural solutions for a renowned defense contractor. Much of my life was dedicated to matching products with applications based upon tolerances and engineering facts. I can assure you that “American Made” can be better than anywhere else. I’m very happy to have found this American manufacturer who produces a better product than any other of its kind from anywhere. Period.So, if you’re serious about investing into a great quality tool that lasts, look no further. I wish these people much continued success.

Nicely made, sharp, pretty much as they should be. Has a fairly sharp point which allows getting to cuticle that's hard to reach, like those little sliver-like ones beside the nail on the little finger. I think the box-joint fulcrum is a good idea also, because reliably precise alignment of the cutting edges is crucial and if you view some of them under a microscope they don't actually line up, though you can't tell except by the fact they don't work very well.

WOW! Finally I have discovered cuticle nippers that are precision made. The blades are correctly aligned and very sharp and that is exactly what I wanted. I have purchased many cuticle instruments over the years and I have become dissatisfied with the declining quality but I am sure that I will have many years of use from the Got Glamour nippers. I ordered the full jaw double spring and I find that they are so much better for me than the single spring, which I have used for many years. I am already glad I decided to make a change. There are lots of less expensive nippers on the market but this one is worth the price! Thanks, Got Glamour for an excellent product!

These were of poor quality. They were sticking when I tried to use them and there was no tension to them. If you are going to charge $30 for as an item they need to reflect that price. I've purchase many cuticle nippers and they do not last long at all. So, I decided I would purchase a pricier pair, and they were worse than the $6.95 ones I purchased in the past. I was very disappointed.

NICE nippers! Got them a day earlier than expected. Very nice quality, VERY sharp & blades align beautifully! The double spring action makes these so smooth & easy to operate that you have to exert minimal pressure for them to do their job. No more sore palms! It comes with a molded soft rubber tip to cover the blades & a nice pouch to store them in. Will definitely buy again when the time comes!
