My old TV is a TCL of the same size, but it's a world away from this new one, starting with the image quality, which is much better and sharper, not quite as good as a Samsung but not that far off. The black levels are good, as is the brightness. The sound is quite clear and powerful. believe me, you don't need to buy a soundbar to listen to a football match or a film. If you do, I recommend a 6.1 or 7.1, otherwise you can save your money because the Onkyo system that comes with this TV does the job. Also, at the distance you would normally watch a 55" TV, the sound volume is more than enough to bother you if it is too loud. The colours are quite vivid, and if you find them exaggerated, you can always adjust them in the settings, as this TV has thousands of configuration options. As for gaming, I have no complaints. With 144Hz If you have a PS5, you can connect it directly to the HDMI eARC input and you'll get everything that PS5 games have to offer in terms of image and sound. The fluidity when gaming is incredible on this TV. There was a RADICAL change compared to my old TCL. I even connected my old MacMini M1 and can work up to 4k, although the font size and icons are too small but perfectly defined. I changed the resolution to 2k and everything is perfect. The TV is also considerably light for its size and can be mounted on the wall or on a VESA stand. It takes a few minutes to set up, but I already installed most of the apps, Netflix, Prime, Disney, Apple, YouTube, and you also have access to the TCL Channel, which offers a large number of old films, but if you are a lover of the 7th art, you will enjoy it. Also is a Google TV so you can access to this content too. The menus are also smooth on the TV and quite fast when switching from one application to another. There may be some delay, but it's not as much as I've seen even on other TVs that are supposedly higher-end and more expensive. For the money you pay, you get a smart TV with all the bells and whistles... For the most discerning and demanding viewers, all that's left is to try it out. The other TV I still own is a 43" Samsung S6 4K, which has sharper picture quality but can't compete with this one in every other respect. It simply has sharper picture quality, but the colours, black depth and screen refresh rate are nowhere near as good. Of course, you would have to buy a Samsung QLED, which I think they call something else, and for all the benefits that TCL offers you, you would have to pay double or more for a Samsung. an amazing TV overall

I hate these marketing terms they use to blur what's LCD and OLED but that's the reality these days. In spite of that, this LCD++ panel puts out nice bright colors. The smart part is also really good, no device required for streaming it's all built in there.

I purchased the TV while it was on a special deal and paid less than 2,000 AED. The picture quality is excellent—easily on par with the big branded models that cost much more. It runs on the Android operating system, so you get plenty of options to personalise the apps and menus. The only downside is that it doesn’t have an external headphone socket, but other than that, it’s highly recommended.

Very nice quality and in this price you will get latest technology of screen plus builtin apple air play and laptop/android mirror casting. You will get free TCL movies app like amazon etc. Sound quality is also nice of-course dont compare with home theater. AI features tested all works fine. In this price TCL product is super, technology is changing very fast don't waste money on expensive TVs just for brand sake. Highly recommended
