Review: Good looking belt. Great price for what you're getting. - For the price point this is a very good quality leather belt. It looks great. Understated that can be worn both formally and informaly. I'm a 34" waist and I saw no reason to cut to size. I prefer to have a few extra inches to allow tucking into a trouser or jean belt loop (and should I spread a little after a meal etc!). The markings on the underside of the belt as a visual reference for cutting to desired waist size were a quality bonus I've not seen before on previous ratchet belts I've purchased - good attention to detail from the manufacturer. Makes life very easy should you need to trim any excess from the strap. I've had previous belts with the same pin locking mechanism. This would be my only criticism. From experience, the pin design usually fails after a year or two of heavy use due to metal fatigue. But that being said I own spare buckles (can be purchased inexpensively from desertcart). The belt strap will look great and well outlive the buckle mechanism if cared for properly, so at this price I'm not bothered. I would recommend for the belt strap alone.
Review: Excellent belt - I have never bought a belt that cane with instructions before, i noticed another review said this is the best belt theyve ever had and was sceptical but after trying it out im inclined to agree, the ratchet system gives better adjustments, it stats in place (doesnt pop open like friction belts ive had) its slick, just push through and it locks in place, this is definitley the better belt design, it has markings for cutting to size which were very helpful, the material feels good, stitching is great, i got this on sale but i'd happily pay full price, very funtional, looks great, i am delighted with this purchase
