Really nice misting fan. Requires easy assembly out of the box. Simple to operate. I don't know that it blows 70 feet, but it creates a great breeze with generous misting. I like that it is portable and runs on battery or can be plugged in. It did a great job keeping me cool in the Arizona heat.

Awesome fan. Works beautifully inside or outside. Love the mister function for outdoor use on a hot patio. Love the adjustable speeds and the remote. Extremely quiet which is a great feature when used indoors.

The fan reportedly can be “felt” 70-ft away. I live at 4860-ft sea level. Typical 10-14% humidity. I can say I can’t feel the breeze 70-ft, as my back patio is 50-ft long and covered. 20-ft is a stretch. BUT, that said, anywhere within 15-ft is great, you can even get soaked as the water sprays and fan is on full-speed. The issue is the fan is 12-inch diameter roughly and works fairly well, just 70-ft is BS.

This wildly versatile fan can be a floor fan, but the top part also detaches to make it a table fan. You can plug it in or it can run off its rechargeable battery. It can mist, or not, oscillate or not (at 45, 90 or 180 degrees), and has variable speeds. It’s amazingly quiet at low speeds and not obnoxious at higher speeds. As with most low pressure misting devices, it will puddle after a while so not recommended to use the misting function indoors. It does however have adjustable misting levels including an intermittent setting. We got ours “open box” so it was cheaper but honestly it was like brand new with some parts still in sealed plastic bags. It has been a great addition to our patio. Did I mention the fan also has a variable speed setting that adjusts the fan speed up and down to mimic a real breeze? Slightly gimmicky but a nice option.

It took only 15 minutes to assemble and that was the only good thing about this product. We used this on our Laini for the half hour we ran it before packing it up and returning. Since it was to spray a light mist for up to 70 feet we thought, as we had observed in places fans like this are used, that the mist spraying over that distance would provide a cooling evaporation and not soak everything in sight. Well, this sprayed a mist for about 7 or 8 feet not 70 soaking everything as the distance is not near far enough to provide evaporation cooling. It also leaked from where the hose connected to the fan and yes, it was connected as tight as it would go. A steady leak came from the back housing of the fan and water also accumulated within the front of the fan housing leaking out the front. In 25 minutes over half of the liter container of water was gone and it was to last a few hours. We thought since this was a Shark product it would be quality but, this is just another cheap piece of junk made in China.
