yes all mine have been like that no seal. I have never had a problem with product.

Can this be used after a keratin treatment or will it strip it?

Sorry I have no idea. This is a scalp treatment.

Can I leave this on overnight?

I’m not sure about overnight but I just say, with the recommended 10 mins it fixed my scalp, something I’ve been trying to fix for years with all sorts of shampoos, inc SLS, Paraben and Silicon free. It definitely worked for me and only needed the 10 mins.
