PopSockets Phone Grip for MagSafe, Magnetic Holder- Aura

I am most definitely impressed with the quality of this popsocket. Initially, I was a little hesitant to purchase this item because I didn’t think it would work like it claimed to. I have an Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max which is a large and heavy phone. With this popsocket being removable due to the magnet I wasn’t sure it would hold my phone like it should because of the weight. Before purchasing anything I like to look at the overall rating and some if not all of the reviews. I felt better about purchasing this item after reading the reviews and seeing how high the rating was and decided to go ahead and give it a try! After I opened it up I was impressed with how bright and pretty the color! I was scared it might be dull, but it wasn’t. I first tried it out using my phone by itself and it worked well, but I always use phone cases. I first put on a regular (non MagSafe) phone case on my phone to see how well the Popsocket would work and quickly realized that it wouldn’t. The magnet wasn’t strong enough to keep the Popsocket on my phone while using it. After taking that phone case off I put on one of my MagSafe cases so I could see if there was a difference or not. As soon as the Popsocket was close to my phone it connected immediately. After pulling the Popsocket all the way out I hung on to it seeing if it was able to hold my phone in the air and this worked. This Popsocket that is very lightweight comes with a powerful magnet that makes it possible to do its’ job! (As long as you’re using a MagSafe phone case.) I am surprised at how easy it is to remove the Popsocket from my phone considering how strong the magnet is. I wouldn’t use it without a phone case though because it would leave scratches on your phone. I use it on my black MagSafe phone case and you can clearly see where it attaches to when you remove the Popsocket off on one of the photos that I submitted. This Popsocket is also interchangeable so you can change them if you want to! I love the convenience of being able to remove this Popsocket if I want to use any wireless chargers and then popping it back on when I’m done! This was a brilliant idea and I definitely recommend anyone with a MagSafe phone who uses wireless charging or would just like the option of removing the Popsocket at any time to purchase this item! This has item has exceeded my expectations!

Love this popsocket. My phone holder in my car won't allow me to use a traditional popsocket so I was having to remove my phone from it's case every drive. This ruined a couple screen protectors and is a pain. When I saw these magsafe ones in the store I was very excited to try one. The provided metal ring that attaches to your case stuck on easily and has been staying put very well even after I repositioned it. I have taken the grip off at least 50 times(probably closer to 100) and there is no sign of the ring coming off or any damage to my phone or grip. I saw some people saying their grip doesn't hold their phone, but I would guess they didn't see/use the included metal piece that sticks to your case because you really have to pull intentionally to get the grip off. I can hold my phone by the grip and shake it pretty hard and the grip stays stuck. I was worried that it would feel extra bulky on the back, but I don't feel that it is. I think because the pop part goes into a slightly recessed area from the magnets it sticks up the same amount as a traditional pop socket, and because of the magnet ring the grip part has not gotten caught on my pants pocket a single time, unlike the original ones that did. I ordered this pattern/color for the cheaper price(close to half of what they wanted in-store for another pattern), but I actually ended up liking it. It has a slight iridescent shimmer and a nice color gradient. Would buy another when I upgrade to a new phone.

Great product, the magnet is strong and sticks to the back of the phone well. Fun iridescent color. It does come with a magnet if your case isn’t mag-safe.

One year on and I’m still using this PopSocket! Strong magnet with a great hold. Easy to grip, for carrying phone and for taking pictures/video. I like too that it acts as a “buffer” of sorts when I put my phone down on a table. One year in and this remains a strong grip. The color and pattern on the center piece does show some wear and tear after all this time; but the function remains high. I definitely recommend the PopSocket brand and this style. It was on sale too when I bought it c which made it even better!

So far I have kind of a love/hate relationship with this Popsocket. I've been using regular adhesive Popsockets for many years, so when I finally got a MagSafe compatible case for my phone I was so excited to try the MagSafe Popsocket. So I'll start with the good things: 1) Obviously, having the option to remove the Popsocket completely is top tier. I was able to wireless charge before (not with MagSafe) with the adhesive base on my old case, but removing the Pop grip entirely helps my phone connect easier. Also, it's just nice to have the option to take it off if I don't want it there for whatever reason, and I don't have to worry about adhesive ruining my case. 2) Magnets are nice and strong so I'm not worried about it falling off. In fact, I struggle a bit to get it off sometimes. 3) I got the warm lavender and the color is very pretty. I believe the top is swappable too, although I have a hard time twisting it off, I think because of the thick edges around it. Which brings me to the things I don't totally love... 1) How big it is. I know this round design is a huge improvement from the "pill" shaped MagSafe grip (which I would never have bought lol), and I know it has to be a certain size to work with MagSafe anyway. I guess I'm just not used to it taking up so much space on the back of my case. For reference, I have the regular iPhone 12, so maybe you have one of those huge pop-tart phones it won't look so large. 2) The border around the actual grip where the magnets are. Don't get me wrong, it's slim and fits against the phone nicely, but it feels weird to hold because there's less space for my fingers between the grip and the back of the phone now. Maybe I'm just too sensitive, idk. 3) This is probably me being weird again but for some reason when my grip is closed down, whatever type of plastic it's made of makes a strange sticky/squeaky sound. I think because it's a different type of plastic than grips I've used before, since it's translucent. Now, some people might not notice this, or some people might even like it. As I said, I'm just a little weird, but the sound bothers me regardless and makes it seem kinda cheap. Which for a $30 phone grip.... yeah, not McLovin' it. So, long story short, I have no idea if I'm going to keep this. I guess I'll try it for another week or so and see how I feel about it. Not gonna lie, the few days I was Popsocket-free I liked how sleek my phone looked without one... until my butterfingers kept almost dropping it and I realized I desperately need some kind of grip. I don't want to go back to a regular Popsocket with the adhesive, so maybe I'll look elsewhere for a MagSafe-compatible grip that I don't have so many gripes with. Anyway, I can't believe I said this much about a Popsocket, but here we are. Talk about first world problems. Kudos to anyone who actually made it through this lol

Very strong magnet! Fit perfectly on my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL using the built in Pixel Snap. Strong enough to stay in place without budging or dropping my phone, but with some effort, can be removed so I can use phone mounts. Would say it's comparable to the traditional Pop Socket that uses adhesive, only more convenient to remove when needed. Material is the same, and has the same level of scratch resistance, which is not very much, but which is what I expected. Came with an additional magnet to place on the back of your phone if it doesn't have built in magnet accessory support. Kind of expensive, wish it was more affordable for what you get.

The magnet of this works wonders, and it is pretty difficult to get off. The quality is great! It is mostly comfy to hold/grip, but if you have very large fingers it may be more difficult to put them around it when the socket is popped up/out. The color is more on the gentle side, not being overwhelming or anything but still visible and pretty. Overall a great purchase!

feel like this would be so much cuter if this was one of the metal ones but it still holds up. pretty rough with my phone and this is sturdy. looks cute and it’s functional. no issues with the pop socket popping out or pushing down. it’s MagSafe and stays on well. so well that i struggle to take it off sometimes. but overall will keep getting popsockets and not any of the imitations.

A little overpriced however a great product. Keep in mind, when you go to charge your phone on a MagSafe charger, you will have to remove your phone entirely from it’s case. Worth the minor inconvenience.

グリップ部分にグラつきがあり、グリップ部分を引き出した状態でスタンドのようにしようとしても、重みで畳まれてしまい、スタンドのようにできないのですが、これは不良品でしょうか？ 以前使用していたものはもっと安定感があり、スタンドのようにも使用できていたので、不良品であれば交換を希望します。

I bought this popsocket for my wife. She always had their cases on her phones, but recently her iphone15 battery has been really bad so she got a Magsafe battery pack for it, which meant she could no longer use the popsocket cases. However, this is a game changer. It looks good, is easy to swap one and off with her battery pack and the magnet is really strong so no chance of it coming off the phone unintentionally. It seems to have the same build quality as their other products so my wife is really happy with it.
