Why it does not have "Montmorency" word on the label? Are they really Montmorency" cherries?

We can confirm that these cherries are Montmorency variety. This information is not mentioned as per our current package design.

Do these cherries mold without refrigeration after opening

No they do not. We have never refrigerated them. We store them in an airtight jar in a drawer in our kitchen. Works great! My husband loves these cherries. They are not too sweet and great with his granola and muesli.

Question to Seller: Are these tart cherries "soft dried" like raisin or are they real "hard dried"?

I bought these to get away from added sugar- and am generally pleased with them. IMO they fall somewhere in between, but tend to be more soft than 'hard dried'. These are smaller in size than the sweetened Trader Joe's I have been getting for so long. Coincidentally, they are right around the size of raisins, whereas the TJ's sweeter versions are just slightly plumper, redder, and softer. BTW they are not entirely consistent, so some few may be just a little chewy- but not hard IMO. Most are soft. I didn't have much trouble getting used to the tarter flavor, I just wanted that added sugar gone. I'm likely to reorder these.
