Didn't last long
Had it for one month and accidentally dropped it. And now there's no sound coming out of the speaker. And the sound while the tape is playing does not work. It's useless.

It small enough that it fits in my jean pocket with no problem and the ear hones are good.
The reception is good and is is loud and clear.

It’s good
As a huge metal head who listens to tapes all of the time on the go this is a good player. The best part is that it’s quiet when it rewinds unlike my old cassette player that was worth more. It has a okay sound quality (you’re getting what you paid for). I read that someone said that theirs had a buzzing issue or it didn’t work but mine came working really well. I’m pretty sure it’s mono playback as it was hard to see the reader. 4 stars because it’s a good product.

Very poor quality.
When playing my 4th cassette tape in the player, it began to eat the tape. I tried several tapes and it did the same thing. I tried cleaning the pulling wheel and it still ate tapes. It appeared that the pulling reel, or take-up reel quit turning. Very poor quality, poorly made. I was very disappointed.

Best, Most Affordable Portable Cassette Player I've ever had
For about 10 years I've been collecting and listening to albums on tape. Of all the portable cassette player's I've bought, this one is the most functional and the least expensive. Folks need to understand audio cassette tapes are imperfect and not every tape will play the same, especially if they're old. Even newer tapes sound bad at times. But on the whole this small player does the majority of my collection justice.

Not stereo!
The product listing is incorrect. The Craig CS2304 is neither a stereo cassette player/recorder nor a stereo radio. It is completely mono... and not very good. The cassette mechanism has audible flutter (wobbly pitch) and causes a lot of background noise to be picked up by built-in microphone. The built-in speaker sounds tinny, and there is no input for an external microphone.
