Great little machine
This is a great little machine highly portable and easy to use and operate. Provides instant critical information on heart beat and rhythm and can be easily connected to an i phone or tablet to retain and record all your readings taken with all supporting detail. It certainly does provide confidence having it close by and available at any time. Also beneficial when attending related doctors or hospital appointments to have such data readily available to support such consultations.

Excellet product, easy to use. Great customer service and support.
For someone elderly or not so computer literate, this is an excellent product. The instructions are easy to follow. It can be downloaded to either phone or computer. I was able to send the reports to my GP by email, but they can also be sent via WhatsApp, downloaded as PDF files on computer or printed out as hard copies. There are 2 concise manuals for phone app or computer, but the monitor also stores the readings which can be checked on the screen. If you have a possible heart problem, there is no extra stress about how to operate this. The monitor itself is light and pocket-sized, easy to carry if needed. Clear battery life indicator, display is clear to read. I am very satisfied with this product.

Compact, easy to use with detailed, informative output. No subscription required is an added bonus.
Having had arrhythmias and tachycardia my GP referred me for a 24 hour ECG - typically my heart didn't miss a beat for the whole time I was hooked up! So I did some research to find a device that I could use as and when I detected abnormal heart activity. I initially ordered the Emay EMG, but found it difficult to get good contacts with the electrodes due to arthritis in my hands, so I went ahead and arranged return, and ordered the EMAY 6L which is in a different league altogether - so much easier to hold and get a reading. The 6 lead model provides a detailed and informative ECG reading while still being extremely easy to use. The device is compact and portable, comes with clear instructions, and taking a reading only takes a minute. The readings appear quickly and the level of detail is significantly greater than the single-channel version. The accompanying app works well and allows the ECG traces to be stored, reviewed and shared, and I expect my doctor will appreciate the detailed output - it's so easy to share my readings with the surgery via email. I'm very grateful to have this information as it will help to inform a treatment plan and hopefully improve the issues I've been having.

A small very useful ECG device
This is a small, portable device which is easy to set up and use straight out of the box. The instruction booklets are clear and easy to follow and you don't need to purchase a subscription. Also, you don't need to use a phone app as you can see the traces on the device but using the app is actually useful because, amongst other things, you can save the traces as an image or pdf document to send on to others e.g. your GP. I bought it for my wife who experiences occasional arrhythmias but not at the precise time of an ECG at A&E or GP Surgery. This device has helped capture what she is feeling and now can present the traces to the doctor for discussion. It doesn't replace professional advice but when you get a 'no abnormalities' result it does give peace of mind. Only had it a few days, but so far, very impressed and would recommend.

Brilliant little device
Having somebody in the family with new symptoms of an arrhythmia I was looking for a device to check or confirm this at home as it was a transient issue. Was about to order the market leader device but far from impressed by having to download an app and use a smartphone in order to see the results, I then came across this device. And read the reviews. Ordered it. And have been thoroughly impressed. This is a small and lightweight palm sized device and so is easily portable, dominated by the metal “thumb pads” and large colour screen. Nice. Accompanied by a clear and simple to read instruction booklet I was up & away getting an ECG for myself after a few seconds. You do not need to download an app in order to use it or see the results, and the little device stores 30 trace readings which you can then delete as required. In order to send the rhythm trace to somebody else like your Doctor, you then have to download the free app available for iOS and Mac, in my case. With this device you can also record a 6 lead ECG by placing the rear sited metal pad on your distal thigh while holding the device with your thumbs on the upper most metal pads. Simple! The difference between this and an Apple Watch is this can pick up other abnormalities instead of just “Normal” or “AF” (“A-Fib”). It has done so in our case at home and confirmed by our GP and formal 12 lead ECG. Luckily for us, this was a harmless arrhythmia (Premature Ventricular Ectopics) - something that will hopefully resolve in time, and not serious. If you contact the company (EMAY) you may be able to obtain the protective case at a discounted price. Even this is nicely designed as it has an insert to keep the unit in place and has a pocket big enough to keep the instruction booklet & charge cable. Again attention to detail which impresses is that the charge socket is the more modern USB-C and they even provided a USB-A to USB-C adaptor in the box so you can plug it in with either wall socket or plug adaptor USB-C or A) that you have at home.

Top Quality Six-lead ECG Monitor
Single lead ECGs on watches have limitations especially on atrial arrhythmias, tending to report all as atrial fibrillation (AF). Six-lead traces will give your clinician far more detail. In reviews this Emay was generally recommended as the best available. It is able to distinguish between a wide range of arrhythmias and especially for people with premature atrial complexes (PACs) which will not show up as AF, but as missed beats or if other abnormalities are present as arrythmia. This is important because management of/clinical response to PACs and AF are different. It is easy enough to use after a little practice and reports can be uplifted to both mobile phones and PCs making sharing with your clinicians easy.. The battery lasts for ages on a single charge. It comes with good instructions. If you want, it can make a one-lead ECG. Settings allow you to vary the trace duration giving great flexibility. The construction is robust. They offer a prompt help desk service by email. For the quality module you get it isn’t expensive either. I can highly recommend this product. You should obviously always get medical advice as well.

EXCELLENT, EASY-TO-USE DEVICE
This is an excellent device. It is small, portable and very easy to set up, to use and to charge. You don't have to download the Emay app for it to work but it is better if you do, as you can share the results with others, and save them as a back-up on your computer for your own records (they are also stored on the device). It is very simple and quick to use - just place it on your bare left knee so the back electrode has skin contact, place thumbs over the front electrodes and hold for 30 seconds. The device gives instant results which you can download through the app, in less than a minute, to print out or share. For anyone with heart health concerns, it is a good way of self-monitoring and avoiding unnecessary trips to the doctor every time you feel a twinge. Of course, it doesn’t replace professional advice but when you get a 'no abnormalities' result it gives peace of mind, and if abnormalities are detected, you have the evidence to show your doctor. It stores information for two users, and is an essential piece of kit for anyone worried about heart health, especially those with occasional arrhythmias or (often harmless) ectopic beats. I have used the smaller version before but I prefer this 6-lead version as it gives a fuller picture. Highly recommended.

Solid Upgrade — Worth It After Firmware Update and Careful Use
I bought this EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor to replace or supplement my 1L EMAY Portable ECG/EKG Monitor, which I’ve had for a couple of years. At first, I found it quite difficult to use, as there are a number of specific requirements to be met: * Staying still: remain perfectly still throughout the recording. * Electrode pressure: maintain light contact with the electrodes. * Dry skin: lightly dampen the skin beforehand. * Consistent contact: keep contact until the 30-second timer reaches zero. * Electronic devices: record in a quiet room with no nearby electronics. * Clean electrodes: clean the electrodes before use. * Skin conditions: avoid dry or overly hairy areas, as instructed. * Implanted devices: do not use if you have a pacemaker or ICD. * Charging: do not charge during recordings. Deviation from these can cause inconsistent readings. At first, I did six or seven tests and got six or seven different results — including “no anomalies”. I tried again, with the same result. I then entered a period of email exchanges with EMAY support, and it was decided that I needed to download new firmware. And now? By paying attention to the requirements — and with the new firmware — the results seem much more consistent. The results are presented in 4-page PDFs, which I now load into ChatGPT 4o and ask for its opinion (“I am not a doctor”, it insists … and then gives me its opinion anyway). Chat can also produce a neat report that I could pass on to my doctor if I ever needed to. Luckily I don’t have any heart problems, but it’s reassuring to be able to check once a month …… just to be sure. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the initial problems.

EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor is an Excellent Device
I have a history of mitral valve prolapse syndrome (Barlow’s Syndrome). I felt that in 1980 and visited the cardiologist who let me see it in the ECG he performed for me. That appeared in the form of a Premature Ventricular Complex (PVC). Later, I followed up my case, everytime to undergo an ECG and get a report. Ten years ago, the cardiologist discovered Aortic Valve insufficiency with increased blood regurgitation of both the mitral and the aortic valves, a mild left ventricle hypertrophy and an increased number of PVCs. Recently, I felt that my case needed more frequent visits to the cardiologist for follow-up or, if there is someway, to try to observe oneslf at home. The Emay monitor seems to be an excellent device to use everday to see if there are any developments. This helps to decide on when to visit the cardiologist. My son who is a frequent customer of Amazon, decided to bring it as a gift to me. I am observing my ECG using this monitor on daily basis and I feel it is giving me peace of mind. Of course, according to the EMAY development team recommendations, if I feel any dangerous developments, I will immediately visit my cardiologist. Thanks to the EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor team for making things so easy.

Nice device, awesome customer service.
Nice portable ECG Monitor. This device works exactly as described without a subscription. I have been using this device almost 3 months now and have found it reliable and accurate. To be totally honest, it began having erratic readings about 2 weeks ago and became frustrated with it until I contacted customer support. I got an immediate response and we began corresponding through email. A gentleman named Nicholas got to work diligently on troubleshooting the issue and sent me a firmware update. A few emails later, the problem was solved. EMAY customer service has proven to be dedicated to solving issues and correcting them with politeness and efficiency. I'm truly thankful for such awesome customer support. I would not hesitate to buy other EMAY devices. I would highly recommend this product for people with heart issues that need to monitor their condition with reliability and for piece of mind. Easy to use app with the ability to share readings with their Doctor or Cardiologist.

Emay 6 Lead Portable ECG monitor
What a wonderful small device that is even smaller than a smart phone in order to take a six lead ECG and monitor your heart health. After following instructions, and downloading the app it is very simple and easy to use. One of the best things I like about this device is that it does not require a subscription in order to use and get the full benefit benefits. Originally, I had my mind set on the Kardia Mobile 6 lead device but after doing further review and understanding that it would require a subscription after the first years use, it made me change my mind and I was fortunate able to find this Emay 6 lead ecg that does the same thing if not better and not being tied down having to buy a subscription. One important thing to understand about this product is that it is very sensitive. I tried using it well driving in a car as a passenger and with all the bumps and vibration and movement I was not able to take an accurate reading. It’s best to be at home or in a quiet place with the fewest distractions as possible and the product works perfectly. Well, worth the price to pay $165.00 for. Thank you Emay for making a wonderful home use ECG six lead monitor.

Great Performance and Easy to Use
The EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor has been a reliable and well‑designed tool for quick, on‑the‑spot ECG checks. It delivers clear readings, connects easily, and performs exactly as advertised. I was impressed by how fast it captures data once your fingers are on the sensors. I did run into a minor issue at first: the readings were inconsistent when my hands were dirty from work. After washing and drying them, the sensors worked perfectly and have been accurate and consistent ever since. That turned out to be a simple user‑side fix rather than a device problem. Overall, this is a dependable, easy‑to‑use ECG monitor that gives you peace of mind and solid performance. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a portable, trustworthy option for quick ECG checks.
